I'm an intelligent little furball looking for a loving family and a forever home. I learn really quickly and I've mastered the basics, including getting used to a leash, a kennel, and being housebroken. I'm a real fan of playing with my furry pals, frolicking in water, and indulging in delectable treats. I'm quite a social nugget with a love for being with my hooman— whether it's an exciting adventure, a refreshing hike, a quiet day by the river, or simply unwinding with the fam. I dream of a spacious backyard where I can zip around to my heart's content when the zoomies strike. Be warned: my irresistible puppy eyes and charming smile are sure to make you fall head over heels in no time. Let's become best buddies! Sullivan is around 8 months old and weighs about 32lbs. He is a Kelpie/German Shepherd Mix (our best guess). Sullivan is dog and cat friendly. He is updated on all his vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. He is currently on flea and heartworm preventative.

Hi! My name is Spike and I am from Missouri. From the foster: Spike is a very sweet & playful puppy who also loves to cuddle up next to you. He is learning all things puppy like potty training! Sometimes he needs redirection to not bite/chew and because of this small children may not be the best fit as those puppy teeth are sharp! He crates easily and does well in his crate overnight with little to no whimpering and no accidents. Spike loves to play with all the toys, including the ones that are bigger than he is. He gets along well with the resident dog. He is food motivated, so training should not be an issue.

Hi! My name is Buffy and I am from Missouri. From the foster: Buffy is a true slayer of the heart! She will live up your life and snuggle right in to your arms. She can be a little hesitant to touch at first but once she knows you, she'll cuddle up. She loves sleeping in a dog bed right next to the human bed. She is mostly housetrained and he success mostly depends on the humans letting her out according to a schedule and noticing her cues. She loves playing with squeaky toys and slaying her brother Xander, who currently lives with her at her foster home. She is fine with cats, dogs and kids. Slow introductions to any resident pets would be important as Buffy is a bit wary of other animals at first. Once she has met them, she is comfortable. She loves to follow her human around the house and wants to be near you. She is currently doing well in our house with her brother Xander but would also be a great single dog.

Hi, my name is Camilo. I am a local surrender. From the foster: Hi, I'm Camilo and I'd love to tell you a little bit about me! My absolute favorite thing to do is play fetch (except I bring it just a little bit away from you because you have to do some work too). I like long walks, especially in new places, though my almost perfect leash skills go out the window if there is too much to explore (I am working on it with my foster family though). I've got a ton of energy and love to run, jump, and play with my toys (but of course I don't touch anything I am not supposed to because I am a good boy), however, I also know when it is time to be an oversized lap dog and cuddle with you. I don't love food and it kind of bores me most of the time but I can definitely be persuaded with some really good treats (like liver or chicken, yum). It can get a little tricky when you want me to listen to you, but it also means I have no interest in eating anything random in your home or outside of it. I sleep in a kennel right now, which I don't love and I'd rather sleep in bed with you, but I still don't fuss about it. I do great in a kennel for longer periods of time, but my foster family leaves me out and I don't even try to get into anything. I just like to look out the window. I really love my people and once I trust you I will be your forever protector and best friend if you'll be mine. Camilo does have recurring allergies that will get pretty bad if you don't keep up with them, but planning with your vet and keeping it under control will make it seem like it isn't even an issue. He is also pretty anxious about new people and places and seems to have deep rooted trust issues surrounding things he isn't familiar with. We were given anxiety meds that we give him before the vet, but we haven't had to use them for anything else despite his many adventures with us. That being said, we have noticed that this lack of trust goes away significantly when he is with someone he knows and likes. If he trusts you, he will trust you all the way and if you are comfortable he is okay too as long as you're with him. He is a really, really good boy, just needs some training and someone who will have patience, work with him, and respect his feelings.
