He is fully housebroken, walks beautifully on a leash, knows basic commands, and is wonderful with children and other animals. True to his breed, Chase is very high energy and highly intelligent. He thrives with structure, training, and having a “job” to do. He would be an amazing match for someone who enjoys running, hiking, dog sports (agility, obedience, scent work), or simply working closely with their dog every day. Chase is not problematic — he simply needs more mental stimulation and activity than our family can consistently provide. We love him deeply and are committed to finding a home where he can truly flourish, not just get by. Madelyn is a female, 4 month, 10-15 pound mixed breed puppy. She may be some type of a Kelpie mix based on her appearance. She is currently located in a kill shelter in Texas and will be euthanized to make space unless she is adopted before her timestamp is up. We are trying to spread the word to help Madelyn (and others like her) find adoptive families in the NJ area. Hi, I'm Stormi and I'm a 1 year old Australian Kelpie mix. I'm fully grown at 29 pounds with a beautiful shiny black coat. My Foster Mom says I have the most adorable face - do you think so too? I'm a very loving and cuddly pup who absolutely loves being close to my people. I'm also super playful - I love toys, playing with my peeps and I get along great with other dogs too. Sometimes I do a little playful nipping (that's just the Kelpie in me!), but I'm working on my manners and getting better every day! I just graduated from training school and I'm very proud of myself! I know how to: * Sit * Go to my place * Walk nicely on a leash * Come when called * I'm also potty trained and crate trained - I try very hard to be a good girl! I love being active too! Whether it's hiking, going for walks, playing in the yard or snuggling on the couch. I'm happy doing whatever my humans are doing. I do still have a bit of puppy energy so I like to chew (mostly on my chew toys) and I may need a little supervision while I settle into my new home. I would thrive with a family who can give me regular exercise and mental stimulation - things like a fenced in yard, walks, outside adventures and fun puzzle toys would make me so happy. Most of all, I just want a family to love! I have a big heart, lots of loyalty and so many cuddles to give. My Foster home is in the Philadelphia area and I'm available there and the tri-state area. Bluey is around 6 months and so sweet. He loves to play and loves to give hugs. A very lucky family will scoop him up soon so apply now! Bluey is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog tested *** for heartworms. Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pups with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
