Story
Hello! I’m Bolt, a lively 6-month-old Cattle Dog/Eskie mix, weighing 25 pounds. I’m bursting with enthusiasm and excitement at the thought of finding my future home. My distinct black and white markings are quite stunning, if I may say so myself. And my loving and friendly personality make me an ideal companion for anyone seeking a loyal and affectionate furry friend. I get along great with other dogs and, even at my young age, consider myself a pretty awesome family man. I’m on the lookout for a forever home where I can run, play, share my love and spread unlimited amounts of happiness. Can you be the one to make that happen? I can’t wait to meet you! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Sweet Bear is a 6 month old 27 pound cattle dog mix with a heart of gold! He is working on potty and crate training and picking things up quickly. Bear is very attached to human companionship and loves to cuddle. Though he is timid in places he doesn’t know after some adjustment time he has started to thrive. He’s working on basic commands and learned “down” in just one day! He’s great with older kids, he lives with two now and looks forward to picking them up from the bus stop after school and running and playing with them in the yard. Bear has the perfect mix of puppy energy and chill vibes while napping next to his humans. This pup needs a chance to thrive in a loving a patient home and in return you will get a best buddy! Story
Well hello there! My name is Birdi, and I’m a 6 month old Cattle Dog/Eskie mix, weighing in at 27 pounds. I’m a happy girl with a loving and friendly personality that will bring sunshine to your days. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and love making new furry friends. I'm still a pup, so I have some energy, but that just means I am FUN and ready to go on adventures or just play ball in the backyard. I have been patiently waiting for a forever home and am not fully ready to share my happiness and love. There is plenty of it to go around!! With my cheerful nature and friendly spirit, I’ll be the paw-fect addition to your family. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful pup to brighten your life, I’m your girl! Story
Mojo was found as a stray and we made every effort to find his owners but to no avail. He is an Aussie mix and of course with the breed comes high activity. I will say that he loves his down time though! He is NOT an apartment dog. He needs a good sized fenced yard. He is not great in a crowd of dogs but will do well with a sister or brother to play with. He hasn't been tested with cats so we don't know about that. The vet believes his age to be about 6 years. He's neutered, vaccinated, crate trained and heart worm negative. He is more than ready for his forever home! ADOPTION FEE $400 PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION!
