2 yr old tricolor M/N Kelpie/GSD mix Looking for a dogs dog?? Gunner is your guy! He was comfortable enough around me, allowed touch, took treats, interacted some with me, but he really really wanted to play with the big dog in the next yard. He wasn't aloof though! Took treats gently, eager to please and loved being called a good boi, it was a fun yard time for both us us He does seem to be feeling the stress from the shelter, some have had some trouble getting him out of his kennel but he was perfectly behaved for me. This is an active breed, he will need consistent physical and mental exercise to be happy, it is likely what is causing his current stress and occasional barrier reactivity. It is worth noting that he was a very loud bork monster when I first approached his kennel but after 3 treats he was ready to follow me anywhere I was going Knows how to sit, walks well on the leash (just a tiny bit of pulling) and seemed potty trained!! ##2528145##

Sweet puppy Prince is a 20 months old Australian Kelpie, who loves other dogs. He is very well behaved, mild mannered, obedient pup. Prince was found starving and neglected, when our vet tech rescued him to save his life. Prince also got 2 weeks obedience training and his trainer said that he is one of the best pups they have had in their program. Prince loves his chew toys and treats. He is currently living with his best friend Pongo and they are inseparable. We are hoping they can be adopted together but he can be with any pup, he is such a good boy. Prince is 40 lb. He is fully vetted, and neutered. He is also chipped and heartworm negative. His adoption fee includes all his shots (DAPP, Rabies, Bordetella) as well as heartworm test, and neuter surgery, and deworming schedule. Prince is being fostered in Texas, and can travel to any state, and even Canada to the right home. To adopt our puppies, yards must be fully and adequately fenced. We do not accept invisible or electric fences. If that is you, we have your girl. Chelsea is a very intelligent and active dog that needs to be both mentally and physically worked in order to keep her out of trouble. She is definitely the type of dog that, if you don't give her a job, she will find one, and you won't like it. That is not to say she is destructive. She is definitely not that. She will run the fence with the neighbors dog and bark her little head off. She is absolutely adorable and does well with confident dogs that will correct her when needed or would do fine as an only dog with an active person. We would not recommend her for a home with small dogs or cats. Chelsea is crate trained and walks nicely on leash with occasional reminders.
