This is Star Anise. She was found before a storm was going to happen. We have been fostering her since January. She's a very sweet and friendly dog. She enjoys being very active as she is a working dog. She will thrive in an outside environment like on a farm or a house with a big yard. She's good with people and doesn't mind other dogs but she prefers to be alone. She just needs a home that will be there for her when she needs it and that will let her roam when she wants. Mochi was found wandering down our street about two weeks ago. She has no chip and collar, but immediately came running to me, when called. She appeared to have had a collar, at some point and even smelled as if she'd had a bath recently. Posters were put up and online posts were made, but no one has claimed her. Around the exact same time she was found, a family that was renting a home down the street from us moved out, so we think she may have likely been either dumped/left-behind. Mochi appears to be about a year old - as her teeth are extremely white and she acts like a puppy / very-young dog. She already knew her sit command. Before I let her in our home, for the first time, she sat at the door and waited. She has a VERY sweet temperament. She is house-trained and is getting better in a kennel. She is a HUGE cuddle bug when she calms down. She would do best with an active person who is looking for a young pup. We will get her vaccinated and are not 100% sure if she is fixed yet.

2 yr old tricolor M/N Kelpie/GSD mix Looking for a dogs dog?? Gunner is your guy! He was comfortable enough around me, allowed touch, took treats, interacted some with me, but he really really wanted to play with the big dog in the next yard. He wasn't aloof though! Took treats gently, eager to please and loved being called a good boi, it was a fun yard time for both us us He does seem to be feeling the stress from the shelter, some have had some trouble getting him out of his kennel but he was perfectly behaved for me. This is an active breed, he will need consistent physical and mental exercise to be happy, it is likely what is causing his current stress and occasional barrier reactivity. It is worth noting that he was a very loud bork monster when I first approached his kennel but after 3 treats he was ready to follow me anywhere I was going Knows how to sit, walks well on the leash (just a tiny bit of pulling) and seemed potty trained!! ##2528145##
