Story
Meet Bluebell! Breed: Australian KelpieGender: FemaleAge: [AGE]Size: Small/Medium ([WEIGHT])Good with: Families, best as an only dog Bluebell is a success story in the making! This Australian Kelpie came to us extremely obese, but she's been absolutely crushing her diet journey and is now trim as ever. She's proof that with the right support and structure, amazing transformations are possible. We're so proud of how far she's come! Fair warning: Bluebell has medical needs and will likely require medication for the rest of her life. This isn't a deal-breaker—it just means she needs a committed owner who can stay on top of her healthcare routine. In return, you get a happy-go-lucky girl who loves play and, let's be honest, clearly LOVES snacks (hence the whole diet situation). She's food-motivated in the best possible way, which makes training a breeze! Bluebell would do best as an only dog where she can be the star of the show without having to share resources or attention. She'd do well in a family setting where she can soak up all the love from multiple people. She's playful and enjoys her fun time, but she's not going to run you ragged—she's more about balanced activity than nonstop energy. If you're looking for a companion with a success story behind her, can commit to her medical care, and don't mind a dog who thinks snack time is the best time, Bluebell is ready to bring joy and affection into your home as your one and only furry family member! Ready to welcome Bluebell into your life? Contact us to meet this wonderful girl! We strive to describe each dog as accurately as possible; however, behavior and needs may change once the dog is in a new home, routine, or environment. Our dogs are not freeroaming in homes. When we note that a dog is "potty trained," this refers to reliable crate training, not confirmed freeroam house training. Accidents may occur during the transition to a new home, and additional training should be expected. All dogs are examined by our veterinarian, are spayed or neutered if old enough, and are up to date on ageappropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption. We share all known medical information, but we cannot guarantee future health or rule out underlying conditions. ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.happyfacespetranch.org Once your application has been approved, a representative will be in touch to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog based on the dog's individual needs. ##2464115##

Story
LOVES TO SNUGGLE AND GET OODLES OF ATTENTION  Estimated DOB 3/25/24, weight 40 lbs. This young girl Calliope is very sweet and playful, and has energy to spare!  Her foster home has several dogs and Calliope wants to play -- er -- wrestle with all of them.  She loves to go on walks, meet new people, play with her stuffed animal toys, and snuggle on the couch for movie time. Calliope was abandoned in the parking lot of a PetSmart but fortunately, her future foster mom worked at the store and scooped her right up! Calliope knows Sit and Wait, and likes to sleep in her crate at night.   Calliope would love a home where she can get lots of attention and exercise as well as have a canine brother or sister to play with.  Is that you? HOPE ID D24-1116-0045 Calliope's $200 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for heartworms, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment for heartworms and fleas. Story
Mochi was found wandering down our street about two weeks ago. She has no chip and collar, but immediately came running to me, when called. She appeared to have had a collar, at some point and even smelled as if she'd had a bath recently. Posters were put up and online posts were made, but no one has claimed her. Around the exact same time she was found, a family that was renting a home down the street from us moved out, so we think she may have likely been either dumped/left-behind. Mochi appears to be about a year old - as her teeth are extremely white and she acts like a puppy / very-young dog. She already knew her sit command. Before I let her in our home, for the first time, she sat at the door and waited. She has a VERY sweet temperament. She is house-trained and is getting better in a kennel. She is a HUGE cuddle bug when she calms down. She would do best with an active person who is looking for a young pup. We will get her vaccinated and are not 100% sure if she is fixed yet.

Story
We had gotten Luna when she was very little. She’s been in our family for a long time, and she’s never caused any problems for us. She’s very quiet but loves to play and go on walks, and she’s been our family dog for several years now. We want someone who can really love her and take care of her properly, giving her the attention she deserves. She’s a very sweet dog and it saddens us to give her up, however we don’t have the time to properly care for her as she needs. We really hope to find someone who will connect with her and give her love.

Story
2 yr old tricolor M/N Kelpie/GSD mix Looking for a dogs dog?? Gunner is your guy! He was comfortable enough around me, allowed touch, took treats, interacted some with me, but he really really wanted to play with the big dog in the next yard. He wasn't aloof though! Took treats gently, eager to please and loved being called a good boi, it was a fun yard time for both us us He does seem to be feeling the stress from the shelter, some have had some trouble getting him out of his kennel but he was perfectly behaved for me. This is an active breed, he will need consistent physical and mental exercise to be happy, it is likely what is causing his current stress and occasional barrier reactivity. It is worth noting that he was a very loud bork monster when I first approached his kennel but after 3 treats he was ready to follow me anywhere I was going Knows how to sit, walks well on the leash (just a tiny bit of pulling) and seemed potty trained!! ##2528145##
