Story
Meet Dazey (TX) Dazey has had a rough start in life. She was passed around from owner to owner through no fault of her own. She wound up having puppies before her first birthday and soon after that she lost her home and found herself living in a car with 4 other dogs. Her owner begged our Rescue to please give her a wonderful owner who would love her and pamper her as she deserves. Despite her past, Dazey is super friendly, energetic, and playful! Her favorite things are riding in the car, going on long walks, and zooming around the backyard with her pals. She walks well on a leash, and does well in a crate. Dazey is food motivated and very smart. She is an absolute sweetheart. She is about 1 1/2 years old and weighs 51 pounds and is great with other dogs and all people. Dazey has a medium energy level - she likes to have the zoomies in the yard or when playing but settles really nicely in the house. She is housetrained and just a lovely girl. Dazey is athletic and can be your running or hiking partner or she will chill near you while you do your online meetings. She can be a single person's partner or will do great as a family dog with lots of kids and animals. We have not tested her with cats. Her adoption fee is $325. She will be spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Please complete the application on this link: https://forms.gle/iCDkiVT5FwJYhezn8

Story
This is Scorpio. This adorable doggie is a very easy going dog.  He loves the outdoors and will be a perfect camping buddy for someone.  He is gets along with other dogs (slow introductions always).  He is crate and leash trained.  He loves his humans.  This boy is ok during car rides too.  He is ready to find his loving home.  Are you his human? Why adopt from Texas? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future. An opportunity to be loved and cared for by good and loving families. There is a reason why we make the trip to your area every two weeks. You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters and we need more like them. We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Colorado & Canada. We will book your baby as soon as adoption & transport fees have been received. www.springbrachrescue.org ##1711245##

Story
We rescued this fun-loving, energetic dog one rainy, chilly night about a year ago. He was a puppy, sticking close to an injured female. He's smart and often entertains himself. He loves to throw one of his many squeaky balls around and run after it. He runs even faster when I pretend to chase him, but swings by close enough for me to "tag" him. :) He's an outdoor dog, but we kept him crated in the kitchen for a few nights when it was very cold and he did great (no accidents, didn't make noise overnight). He doesn't interact with our dogs, but was in a yard with a couple of other foster dogs for awhile and did fine. He's not dog aggressive. If we didn't already have dogs of our own, we'd love to keep him. Our family and friends are also full-up with their own rescues and fosters. I hope to find him a welcoming forever home where he'll be cared for and can bring joy to his family.

Story
Bruno is 2 yrs old, he is supposedly a purebreed Australian shepherd. Parents were on site when we got him and they were. We are moving internationally in the near future and it would be next to impossible to bring him with us. In addition he has behavioral issues. Main issue is that he is very food motivated, and will steal food at any and every opportunity. Even when he has open access to dog food. We have tried professionally having him trained, continued training... it seems to have limited effect. I don't think he inherited the smarts usual for the breed. For the right family, possibly a great pet, but he is not the right fit for us. Considering the food issue, I would not recommend him for households with small children, which Bruno views as small, mobile buffets. He is housetrained and knows all the general basic commands (sit stay come etc). Neutered, current on all shots. Everything will come with the dog. Food, feeder, bed, crate... everything.
