Story
Annie is so beautiful, and so sweet! This 1ish yr old, 57lb girl needs a running partner! She is a very energetic girl so will do best in athletically active home that will take her on lots of outdoors activities. Running, jogging and hiking would be ideal! She does still need basic training but she is extremely smart and learns quickly. She is also very eager to please, especially if treats are involved! Annie gets along great with other dogs but prefers playmates that are not physical with her. She does not need another dog in the home. Just humans that want to exercise and then cuddle. She is a submissive girl with a wonderful temperament so with a little training and attention, she will become a wonderful family dog. She is crate trained but does need a little more help with her house training. She must have a 6ft, securely fenced yard. Kids must be over 10yrs old. She has not been tested with cats so no kitties please.  If you would like to meet Annie please email info@k9rr.org and include your phone number.June 9, 2023, 11:29 am

Story
Welcome Bleu to CCPAL Rescue. We think he is an Australian Shepherd/Husky. He has a beautiful grey and black brindle color. He has a medium length coat. He is decent on a leash, good in his kennel and friendly. Bleu is a social dog and would make an active family a great companion. He would be a great hiking, jogging or outdoor activity dog. He is playful and fun and will make some lucky family a great companion. His best home would be with someone that likes to do things and include their dog in their fun. He would be fine with kids and we like them to be 8 or older. He is getting his vaccines and will be neutered soon. He is in Texas at the CCPAL Rescue. He was pulled from one of the local high kill animal controls around the shelter. They are all pleading for Rescues to open up space so they don’t have to euthanize. Because of the great adoptions we had space. He can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 250 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Bluebell to CCPAL Rescue. She is an Aussie/Lab. She is 2.5 years old. She is 50 pounds and she is pretty good on the leash. She is potty trained and she does good with other dogs. She likes car rides and she has some nice commands under her belt. She knows sit, down, stay and takes treats nicely. She is in a home with a wonderful family that now has to take care of their older mom with dementia. Bluebell is a little big and young for an older lady with dementia so Bluebell needs to find a better home that has time to spend with her walking, jogging and hiking. Bluebell is good with other dogs and she will make an active family a great companion. Her long legs would make her good at keeping stride with a jogger. She is healthy and has had her year long heart guard shot. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
To meet Harper, please submit an application at www.thehausofdogs.com/adopt . Harper came to us from a shelter in Kennedy, TX, about an hour outside of San Antonio. She loves playing with other dogs, is indifferent towards cats, adores kids and despite her playfulness, is thriving in a townhouse, sharing space with a 100-lb American bulldog. The best thing about Harper is her joy in greeting all humans, and her ability to match the energy you exude. It makes her the perfect adventure sidekick and cuddle buddy! Harper waits patiently to go potty outside and lets you know she has to go by sitting by the door. She doesn’t have any resource guarding tendencies and loves her foster brother. Harper has waited a while for her furrytale ending. Will you be the one to make her doggy dreams come true? Story
Oreo is an amazing dog who loves people and is good at playing with kids. She loves being outside. She has anxiety issues and needs a lot of attention. But she loves to cuddle and loves to nudge for attention. We adopted her in Japan in hopes for us to be her forever home but unfortunately that is no longer possible. I want to find her a good home with children to play with and get lots of love.

Story
Say hello to Lincoln! He is a very high energy, active and sweet 1 year old, 35lb Australian Shepherd. He is a happy boy and loves to get attention from his people! He will do great with a family that understands herding dogs and their needs. He can be strong willed and is still working on basic obedience and will need a family that will continue his training. He is working on not jumping up and mouthing right now so he needs an adult only home or a home with kids over 12. He is super sweet, but he has a lot of happy and unfocused energy. He is very smart and will thrive with training. He would love to be in a home with a securely fenced yard for him to run and play. He will do best in a home where someone is home much of the time. He likes other dogs but can play very rough with them and would rather spend time with his humans so for that reason we are looking for a home for him as an only dog. He will need an adopter that will keep him lol physically and mentally active and would make a great jogging or adventure buddy. He is up to date on all of his vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Sweet Poppy came to us as an owner surrender due to no fault of her owner. Her family needed to downsize to an apartment and it was not a suitable environment for her. Poppy is very active and needs to be in a freestanding home with a yard outside of the city. She is a 4-year-old Australian Shepherd. Her previous owner describes her as the sweetest angel who will give you all of her love and loves to cuddle. She is fully house trained and won’t potty inside if she is on a routine schedule. She is an active girl who loves to go on walks, running and hiking. She will need an adopter who is active and will keep up on her exercise. She loves to play with squeaky toys. She is also playful and loves other dogs and would do well with another dog friend in the home or could do well by herself as long as she continues to be socialized with other dogs. She is a beautiful girl and will need to be routinely brushed out. She was shaved in the past but should not be shaved again, just regular grooming for this girl. She has a high prey drive so no small animals in the home with her. She has a cat in the home before but cannot be left unattended with them, so we are recommending no cats for her. She can be a flight risk and a runner so she will need to be leashed when outside and not left unattended in the yard. Poppy is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $550.

Story
Meet Daisy! She is a sweet girl who came to us from CA. She is a Mini Aussie mix who is estimated to be about 5 years old. She was found at a truck car wash in CA and was presumed to have been a truckers dog who got left behind. She is very sweet, quiet and gentle and loves to give kisses. She walks well on a leash and would love to go for walks or just hang out and cuddle with her people. She will make a loyal companion. The previous rescue indicated that she is a wonderful little dog and good with cats and dogs and loves kids but also that she can be protective of her person. She will be fully vaccinated, microchipped and spayed prior to her adoption. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
Hi, Tomasa is my name and if you want an all around easy dog to get along with - I'm your girl! I love to swim, run, and play. I can already imagine all the fun things we could do together. But I am also very content to lay be your feet and just chill. Don't worry - I'll periodically give you my paw to let you know I'm there and available for cuddling. I don't need constant attention, but I'll take as much as you want to give.I can be a bit shy when we first meet but I warm up quickly and then we are best friends.I am still a young girl who is very curious and learning new things all the time. I getting pretty good at walking on a leash without pulling - and with your help I'm sure I'll be perfect soon! And did I mention I love treats? I already know how to sit for a treat. Being food motivated makes me easy to train. I get along great with most dogs after we are introduced, but I can be a bit vocal with dogs that I don’t know. Once we are introduced, we're good friends. In fact, I go for walks on our La Paz Malecon every Wednesday just so I can meet new dogs and people and be a social girl. If you like an all-around great dog - who has energy to play when you are ready, will chill and lay at your feet while you work, and be ready for cuddles when it's time -- I'm definitely the girl for you.If you think we could have a happy life together, then just click on the ""Apply to Adopt"" button. I will be waiting for you!To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. There you will see any videos, more photos and details.

Story
Meet Toby! This handsome boy was rescued at the 11th hour from euthanasia in an overcrowded shelter to no fault of his own and we are relieved he is ours! He will be a year old by the end of May. He is a cattle dog, blue heeler mix, and gorgeous!  His eyes tell it all, he is a bit nervous about the world yet but has soo much love to give his people. He is funny, smart, and really sweet. He loves to play and explore, so a home with a yard is what he would so love. He likes to learn and is food motivated. Toby loves to go for walks, and is learning not to pull as hard (we have tips!) and wants to know that you are there for him. He will be there for you! He is nervous around young kids and does like to play with dogs from medium to large with proper introduction. A pal is fun for him. No cats are preferred. Toby is vaccinated, chipped, and will be neutered. His adoption fee is $395.    We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
