Marbles is ready to travel to a community that will truly cherish him as a family member. He is currently in Oklahoma at our rescue. Because we want his transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities (listed below!). Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Marbles can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. We stand by our pups for life. In the rare event it isn't a perfect match, Marbles is never without a safety net; he will simply return to our care in Oklahoma on the next available transport until his perfect home is found. Meet Marbles! Age: 6 Months Weight: 26 lbs (Current weight as of July 15; Estimated adult weight: 40-60 lbs) Breed Mix: Possibly Australian Shepherd & German Shepherd Mix Coat: Short, stunning brindle with the most adorable fluffy ears! Why We Love Marbles If you're looking for a striking pup with a heart of gold, meet Marbles! This handsome guy is the ultimate blend of beauty and brains. With his unique brindle coat and perfectly fuzzy ears, he is bound to turn heads wherever he goes. Marbles is a quintessential happy-go-lucky puppy. He has never met a stranger and absolutely adores people. Got other dogs? Great! Marbles loves making new canine friends. Because he is so young, eager to please, and in the prime of his socialization window, we expect he will do wonderfully with children and can easily learn to live harmoniously with dog-savvy cats. Home Manners & Training Marbles has been hanging out at our rescue headquarters and is already a pro at crate routine! He is a very smart boy who understands the routine and is doing fantastic with going potty—he knows exactly what to do and goes potty immediately when let outside. He is a blank slate when it comes to leash walking and formal obedience training, but don't let that deter you. With his shepherd heritage, he is incredibly bright and ready to soak up training like a sponge. He just needs a family ready to guide him through his puppy milestones with love, treats, and consistency. Are you Marbles' perfect match? Marbles is ready to find a family to call his very own. If you have room in your heart and your home for a lifetime of loyal companionship, playful antics, and puppy kisses, Marbles is waiting for you! Story
**Lucas is currently being fostered in Houston TX but is available for out of state adoption via rescue transport at no added fee to adopters. We offer video chat for you to meet your pup prior to committing to adoption, and have a guaranteed return process for all our dogs** Lucas is your all around adventure pup who loves to run, play, swim, repeat! This dog has a ton of energy and just loves to be right beside his human best friend! He was found as a stray on the streets of Houston TX, where he was rescued by a good Samaritan who made sure he was safe, and vetted. Unfortunately, they didn't have a lot of space and Lucas started to get anxious being in such confined spaces with no way to run. Being the breeds he is, this caused him to mentally deteriorate a little and thus he was brought to us. Lucas has since settled in beautifully now that he has land to run in, friends to play with, toys aplenty and all the water time he could ask for. While he can be a little needy at times, we don't blame him given the confined spaces he endured before being brought here. Anyone who loves to run and was cooped up for as long as he was would be! However, he has really started to thrive with the right environment. Lucas is a very intelligent dog who is eager to please and quick to learn. He picks things up quickly, and is bold and confident in his learning style so it doesn't take much at all. Treats, toys, a good belly rub, all are equal enough to him to work for and he definitely will work for it! He is crate trained, and has done well to introduction to all things home life. He really loves toys, and is constantly looking to play, fetch, run, and seek all the fun things! He also really loves the water, and any chance he gets he is in the pool, which, given how hot the summer has been we don't blame him! He would do great with a family looking for someone to inject energy and life into the home. He is 100% a persons dog, and would do best with someone who has the time and space for him to grow and play. Even though he is a husky, he is a relatively quiet dog who isn't a loud barker, though he will whine if he wants a toy and isn't seeming to get our attention for it. But otherwise, no howling here! Lucas will come fully vetted and health certified. For more information, contact MokasMission@Gmail.com

Story
Welcome Porsche to CCPAL Rescue. Porsche is an Aussie mix is our best guess. She looks like he is mixed with something small. She is about 8 pounds now and should be medium sized full grown. We think 25-30 full grown. She is very sweet, has good eye contact and has a soft coat and down ears. Her coat is really soft. She is active and the group is vocal but not over the top. A person that does not work all day every day for 5 days a week is the best for a puppy. Someone that can work from home some or has partial days or some days off to spend to help your new puppy acclimate is best. You need time to be with your puppy to socialize them and to finish off their puppy training. Porsche was very easy to handle taking his photos and she wasn’t afraid of new people and liked being held. She sat on the table with confidence while we worked with her. She is getting daily attention and holding at the Rescue. She is getting his DHPP vaccinations and dewormed. She is good in her play group. She is kenneled in the evening and is learning to go potty on a wee pad. She is currently at the CCPAL Rescue in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video

BEST WAY TO INQUIRE, EMAIL CONTACT@BAMMRESCUEPDX.ORG From his foster: “Ralphie – Your Adventure Co-Star1 year old | 48 lbs | Australian Shepherd MixRalphie is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and wants to truly be part of your life. He’s intelligent, expressive, and athletic — a classic working-breed mix who thrives when he has structure, purpose, and connection. At one year old, and still figuring out the world, he can be sensitive in new situations and has shown some fear-based reactivity in the past. The good news? With structure and training, he has been making wonderful progress and building confidence every single day. He is looking for experienced, steady leadership to help him continue that upward trajectory. He would do best in:• An adult-only home (no young children)• An active household that enjoys walks, hikes, and enrichment• A secure yard (he’s athletic and curious!)• A home with breed experience and commitment to continued training    ##2622392##

What my friends at Seattle Humane say about me:- I am a very goofy guy who just wants to play and have fun!- I love my toys - stuffed toys don`t last long.... I love them that much!- It`s been said that I am `very sweet`!- I love to play fetch.- I am a good walker - I`ve been known to slightly pull but I`m just so happy to be walking!- I am proud to say I know the commands `sit` and `lie down`. More learning to come, I`m sure!**My new family can name their own adoption fee!**

Story
Muchacho is a young (1.5-2 YO approx.) mixed medium boy (last weighed 44 lbs, now 45-55 lbs.), with a brindle coat and the sweetest brown eyes. He is house-trained (up to 6 hours free-bird, up to 8 in crate), potty-trained, knows Sit, Paw (Shakes Hand), is working on Wait (Stay) and Gentle (touch nose, not grab with teeth). He is VERY food-motivated, a lapdog, a sous chef. Muchacho loves the girls, the gays and the theys, and warms up to the he/hims slowly. He loves to be by your side at all times, separation makes him anxious. He is a big nippy thief, of socks and shoes and kitchen towels and pillows, even if they are too big to carry. He loves playing with balls, tug of war, and destroying even the toughest toys. He is not friendly to other dogs, should be an only pet until he is socialized better. He is a handsome boy who needs a companion with more time, energy, and dedication to his training. My ex surrendered Chacho to me to rehome to a more fitting household after he left WA.

Story
Location - in a foster home. From his foster parent:If I`m home, he does whatever I`m doing and follows me around to see what`s going on. He also loves looking out the window or sitting on the deck to watch the world go by. He is very aware of everything that is going on nearby. He appreciates frequent play breaks, like a good game of fetch or tug-of-war. He is also down for a good midday nap. If I`m not home, he hangs out in the bathroom and I feel very comfortable leaving him alone. He doesn`t destroy things and doesn`t dig in the trash. He has excellent house manners! He does like to sleep on the bed or couch, which I also like. He can be very snuggly when sleeping at night and if it`s cold, likes to get under the covers too. Mylo is very playful and will try to sell you on a game of fetch whenever he sees the opportunity. He loves a durable stuffie and bonus if it squeaks. He also loves catching balls, tug-of-war with ropes, or working on a toy with hidden treats inside. He loves to be engaged, so any activity that keeps him active and his mind working is great. He also appreciates a good brushing session. He will even ask to be brushed if I forget to do it enough. Mylo LOVES to ride in the car and will sometimes air chomp at passing cars, which is really cute. One of the things I`ve been most impressed by with Mylo is his ability to communicate with me. Sometimes I feel like we are having actual conversations. He is so smart and will let you know when he needs or wants something. Another way he communicates is if I`m rubbing his belly and stop, he`ll hook my hand with his paw and bring it back to his belly for more scratches—so sweet. His most unique quirk is his love of pens, especially pens that click. He gets so excited every time he sees one in use and watches it so intently and with overflowing enthusiasm. It is hilarious! He also gets really excited about the rice cooker, hair dryer, and vacuum. Mylo is such a charmer with an engaging personality and a tender heart. I love him so much! The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets!
