Meet Tango! We love this gorgeous, loving boy so much! Whoever becomes his family will be lucky as can be! Sweet Tango was found with two brothers fending for themselves in a rural area, likely left to die. Tango arrived with some injuries on his neck and has healed well.   Tango was born last November, and his pictures make him look bigger than he is. He is super sweet, affectionate, and oh, so cute. He loves people; his favorite thing is being with you and even going on errands. He is a super snuggler on the couch and in bed, where he makes an excellent sleeping partner.    He is a gentle boy learning about the world and getting good training in his foster home. He does not know much of anything but is eager to learn. He is a fast learner, food-motivated, and eager to please. He knows several commands, little smarty that he is.   While we were having Tango's neck attended to at the vet, they discovered he had a heart murmur. He had heart surgery to repair the issue and is now in perfect shape with a long life ahead of him!   Tango really loves his people around, so someone who works remotely or is home more than not, he will love it! He does ok alone for short periods of time. He does not enjoy being crated, a common thing among dogs. He loves other dogs but will chase a cat. He also will do best with kids 12 on up, as he is a herding breed and can follow people's heels.   Tango is a little gem in the rough and can be a diamond.   He is fixed, vaccinated, and chipped. His adoption fee is $450.           We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! He is an 1 year old Australian Shepherd mix (the other breed is unknown) and weighs 50 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Kody hasn’t been tested around children. He is good with cats! He doesn’t live with another dog, but is good with dogs outside of the home! He is housebroken, but isn’t crate-trained. Meet Quarry - URGENT FOSTER NEEDED! We'd love to get him into a loving home ASAP and we also need to make some moves in which dogs are where, so we're hoping someone will step up to take this guy in! Quarry is one of five young Aussie pups we rescued from a puppy mill situation in Eastern WA. Like the others, he suffered porcupine quill injuries—but his were the worst we’ve ever seen. This poor boy even had quills down his throat. When we found him, Quarry was starving, in pain, and desperately pawing at his face to try to escape the agony. It broke our hearts. The good news? He’s been to the vet, the quills are gone, and he’s on the road to recovery. At the rescue kennel, he’s started taking food from our hands (pill pockets are his favorite!). But Quarry is still very shy—understandable after the trauma he’s endured. Now we need your help. Quarry needs a patient foster home with no cats, where he can finally leave the kennel behind, learn to trust again, and discover what it means to be safe and loved. Sadie is currently at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Sadie is 2 1/2 years old (December 1) and is possibly a Border Collie/Lab mix. -Come into the local shelter in Summer 2023 as a small puppy. Transferred to our rescue on June 7th -Just went through heartworm treatment and tested negative as of December 9th! -Used to be shy and timid....now she is well socialized and loves to get all of your attention and she's not afraid to ask for it! -Energetic breed who would love a nice yard to run in and a family to love on. -35-40 pounds. -Gets along with other dogs. Would do best in a home with another dog to play with. Does like to be the "alpha" with some females (never aggressive). Gets along great with males -She can walk on a leash, but it does need some work. -If home has kids, must be 10+ -Video of Sadie from December 1: https://youtube.com/shorts/idXhtmRwhwg Sadie is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), dewormed, microchipped, on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Panda is a very playful dog. She is the sort of dog that doesn’t let other dogs play. She is smart and eager to please. A lot of work has gone into rehabilitating her after she was abused as a puppy. She is crate trained. The reason that she has to find a home where she can be the only pet is because she doesn’t listen to boundaries that the other pets in the house lay down, and there is concern for that leading to injuries.
