He is very high energy and needs an experienced adopter that can continue his training. He is brilliant and eager to learn— he loves treats of all kinds and responds very well to learning new commands. Currently he follows the sit and lay down commands consistently, and is coming when called without distractions. He gets very excited at new people and jumps when greeting them. For the time that I’ve had him he has only ever slept in the bed with me, and he loves cuddling. He will come to you with a harness and leash, and large crate if you would like— although he hasn’t been crate trained and uses a “carseat” during travel. He doesn’t like getting into vehicles and still shows signs of separation anxiety. He is such a sweet and sincere and faithful and playful boy. I’ll miss him with all of my heart and I’m hoping somebody can provide the space to run and the attention to finish training that he needs.

Archie is an active and happy dog. He loves doing any activities like running, hiking, doing long walks, playing fetch. He is trained, knows many commands. He is good with cats, he lived with cat in our household. He is healthy, up to date on all his shots. We have always kept him up to date on his vaccines and did regular blood and fecal tests. He is house trained, does all his business outside. We are looking a new home for him as he has hard time adjusting to having a kid in the house. He is very stressed when hour daughter is crying or just running and screaming around the house. We thought he just needs some time, but it is not getting better. He loves our daughter, he is not bad with her in any way. We don't want to give him any antidepressants or sedatives to help him. That is why we made this decision to find a new home for him. It is heartbreaking for us, he is our family member, and this option is the last resort for us. He is just 6,5 years old and has plenty of years ahead.

Beemo is a 65 pounds of love, who loves to be with his person at all times. He’s extremely affectionate and a real cuddle buddy. He loves playing outside, going for rides in the car, and sometimes just curling up on the couch for movie night. Beemo gets along great with other dogs and currently lives with his 11 year old foster brother Winslow, and the two are inseparable. This gentle giant walks well on leash. He is playful and is always very relaxed and sweet with people. He is truly a great companion who just wants to be loved and be your shadow. Beemo has been fostered with several other dogs and has had the time of his life getting to play with all of them. He’s never lived with any cats that we know of, but he’s never become reactive at the sight of a cat before. He has let kids of all ages pet him and loved every minute of it. Beemo would do best in a family who can offer him regular walks to make sure that he stays healthy. He is not a highly active pup, and once he wears off his energy, he turns into a couch potato. A home with a fully fenced yard will be a great option for him, so he could get his zoomies whenever possible. Beemo is only 2 years old, and fully vetted, current on vaccination, and is neutered and microchipped. He is also heartworm negative and kept on preventatives. Beemo is currently being fostered in Houston, but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Wrigley is fearful of strangers! He is good with older children! No dogs, due to his reactivity! He hasn’t been tested around younger children or cats. Wrigley has bitten 3 people. When he was around 2 years old, he ran out the front door and bit the delivery man on the ankle, while he was standing on the owner’s porch. He bit a stranger two years ago who entered the owner’s home. This week, the dog sitter had a stranger enter the owner’s home through the front door. The dog sitter opened the crate and Wrigley bit the stranger on the leg. The dog sitter attempted to remove Wrangley, but Wrangley bit him on the hand. Wrigley barks and gets agitated at the fence when he can hear the neighbors and their dogs. He gets trazodone for car rides, due to his anxiety. The owner is surrendering him because of his bite incidents that were caused by situational triggers. The owner is unable to be home most of the time, due to their work schedule. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Lincoln! He is a very high energy, active and sweet 2-year-old, 40 lb Australian Shepherd. He is a happy boy and loves to get attention from his people! He will do great with a family that understands herding dogs and their needs. He can be strong willed and is still working on basic obedience and will need a family that will continue his training. He is working on not jumping up and mouthing right now so he needs an adult only home or a home with kids over 14. He is super sweet, but he has a lot of happy and unfocused energy. He is very smart and will thrive with training. He would love to be in a home in a suburban or rural neighborhood with a securely fenced yard for him to run and play. He will do best in a home where someone is home much of the time. He likes other dogs but can play very rough with them and would rather spend time with his humans so for that reason we are looking for a home for him as an only dog or with another dog who is able to handle his rough play. He will need an adopter that will keep him physically and mentally active and would make a great jogging or adventure buddy. He is up to date on all of his vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Fury! He is a 9-year-old, 55 lb Blue Merle AKC registered Australian Shepherd who was surrendered to us as his owner could no longer care for him. Fury loves to be petted, pampered and groomed. He likes to play by himself with soccer balls and plushie toys, he tosses then around and chases them independently. He loves to lounge in the sunshine. Fury would like to find himself his very own retirement home where he can be an only dog with his own securely fenced yard to relax in during the day, and a cozy kennel at night. He would do best in a home where he can be the only pet. He walks well on a leash for the most part but can be leash reactive and he does not care for other male dogs or dogs who get in his face on leash. He will lunge at cars that pass by as his herding breed instinct takes over. For this reason, he would do best in a quiet suburban or rural neighborhood. He’s been gentle with the young child in his previous home under supervision but nips at the butts of anyone who runs next to him so it is recommended that he goes to an adult only home or with children over 12. When feeding time comes around, he acts as if he is going to be food aggressive/possessive by growling and sounding scary but is really just a marshmallow with no follow through. Fury is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $350.

Meet Magellan! He had been living on the street for a few months when someone asked if we could take him in. He’s sooooo happy and bouncy! He weighs 51 pounds and is about a year old, still a baby with sparkling white teeth! He is GREAT with the other dogs in the yard and so he is able to run free with the front yard pack. He has a chill disposition and isn’t dominant with the other dogs. Believe it or not, sometimes street dogs can be more well adjusted than a dog that is owner surrendered! He’s probably even good with cats, we can always cat test any dog! Magellan loves to play! Without our outstanding foster mum this would not of happened & who knows what would of happened to this little angel, her sister & mum. Flower who is now looking for her very own forever home & who will never give up on her again & dump her & love her just as her foster mum & we do. After we got Flower all her care with her amazing foster mum she will be bought back to WA state from CA where she can’t wait to find her loving forever home. Flower a little lady, how could anyone dump her & let her down is shocking. Her foster mum said she is so very sweet & full of sweet puppy love of energy. She is your typical puppy of eat, poop, play sleep. Flower just wants to be loved. Disturbing to think of what almost happened to her. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA. Flower has been great with her baths because she started having them with us the moment she was rescued so she is used to them. Flower is roughly 1.6 years old & 28 lbs & is perhaps a spaniel terrier/Australian mini shepherd mix, but what she is mixed with we are not sure at all. She is female, being spayed by laser. Flower is, microchipped, given flea treatment, up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Flower, with all of her medical care than her adoption fee comes close to even covering, her spay by laser, all of her puppy shots & shots, microchip transport feed bringing her back to WA state, etc. Flower has been around cats since being in the rescue in her foster home & could care less about the cat in her foster home but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Flower was conceived so we do not know who both her parents were but we do know who her mum is & she is in a picture with flower & we have her in the rescue also. But it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Flower’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Flower potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Hi, Tomasa is my name and if you want an all around easy dog to get along with - I'm your girl! I love to swim, run, and play. I can already imagine all the fun things we could do together. But I am also very content to lay be your feet and just chill. Don't worry - I'll periodically give you my paw to let you know I'm there and available for cuddling. I don't need constant attention, but I'll take as much as you want to give.I can be a bit shy when we first meet but I warm up quickly and then we are best friends.I am still a young girl who is very curious and learning new things all the time. I getting pretty good at walking on a leash without pulling - and with your help I'm sure I'll be perfect soon! And did I mention I love treats? I already know how to sit for a treat. Being food motivated makes me easy to train. I get along great with most dogs after we are introduced, but I can be a bit vocal with dogs that I don’t know. Once we are introduced, we're good friends. In fact, I go for walks on our La Paz Malecon every Wednesday just so I can meet new dogs and people and be a social girl. Hi I am Buddy,I have been told that I am a beautiful dog with my long coat and big brown eyes, but they could be just joking with me!Even though I am over a year old I still like to play like a puppy. I live with a lot of dogs right now. I would love to be the leader of the pack, but I know that I need to wait my turn. I live with cats too, I like to chase them so we can play but they are not happy to do that.I learn something every day, so I am pretty good with basic commands especially if it leads to a treat. I like to walk on a leash, but I pull sometimes when I see something interesting. I am very affectionate and want to give kisses to everyone. I have not lived with kids and frankly, they kind of scare me. But toys are my thing, I love them all.I spend most of my days outside so you may need to work with me for potty breaks.
