Story
Guiness is a 4 year old Australian Shepherd. He would thrive in a home with an owner that has herding breed experience. He can be a little nippy initially with new people, but with proper introductions to someone new he is your best friend in about 30 seconds - it is really just the intial approach of a stranger that is challenging for him, which is not uncommon for herding breeds and should be easily manageable for someone with experience with herding dogs. Once he loves you he is a needy, affectionate, eager to please boy. He is already housebroken and well behaved at home. He would not do well with small children. He has potential to do well with another dog if the dog is polite and calm and the owner is experienced with intros, but he has never lived with another dog and does need some support to get more comfortable with another dog. He is all around such an affectionate, eager to please, driven boy that would thrive in an experienced home. Adoption fee: $150 He is neutered and current on vaccines. *NOTE: Guiness is part of our rehoming program - a diversion program that helps keep pets out of shelters by assisting their owners in finding new homes that are a better fit so they don't need to be surrendered. This means Guiness is currently living with his original owners and all veterinary care and history and temperament history has been provided by them.  ##1975487##

Story
Apollo is 6 years old. I originally got him from this site in 2020 after my wife passed away. He is a great dog for a single person very loving and attentive. He gets along well with kids (he plays with my great granddaughter who is 4) and adults. he is also a good guard dog and lets me know when anyone is around. I really hate to give him up but find myself in a situation where I have to downsize and will not have the area for him. He is very playful and loves to play keep away with a ball. He currently has a fenced in back yard and a doggy door which allows him to go in and out as he pleases. He is trained to standard commands sit, stay, stop, no jump.

Story
Twix was given to us by one of our family members who had adopted him from a shelter and could no longer take care of him.He is approximately 2 years of age. I am looking for someone who has experience with dogs with behavioral issues since he does have a bite history due to him being previously abused. He would do best in a house with no kids and lots of room to run and exert his energy. he is very smart and will adopt good behaviors from other dogs around him. He is very affectionate but needs time to warm up and needs someone who is patient and wont rush to pet him. He prefers to be the one to approach you, not to be approached. He is reactive and has bitten his previous owners as well as his current. We are looking for someone who can afford to give him the training he needs. He knows sit and stay and knows when to respect another dogs boundaries. He does well during baths and grooming if its by someone he trusts. He has only been around small dogs but needs to be separated to feed

Story
Bradley (formerly Bradley Chonkers) is still available for adoption! 4 years young, up to date on shots, and neutered. Bradley is a beautiful Aussie Shep mix that would do great in a home with other animal friends. Bradley had a rough start in life and would love to finally settle in his forever home. He is nervous at the vet (like most Aussies) and can take a little time to trust but once he does he's loyal. He really goes bonkers around other dogs so if you need a playmate for your dog, this boy is it! Dogs tend to really bring him out of his shell. Bradley will do best in a home with no small children. He has a very mesmerizing look with one amber eye and one ice blue eye. He also gets along with his farm animal friends. He is currently in a home with dogs and a cat. If you'd like to meet Bradley please text Cindy at 321-263-5249 April 30, 2024, 1:08 pm
