You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Nebula and her siblings came to PRBJ after the owner was no longer able to care for the pups. They have been around small kids and cats with no issues.   New puppy parents must be dedicated to obedience, socialization and potty training to ensure the pup grows up to be a happy and well-adjusted dog. We recommend the ENTIRE family attend puppy training classes. This ensures that all family member are using the same commands and techniques.    Please note a fenced backyard is preferred for this baby to romp and safely play.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 8, 2025, 8:22 am

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Kai is a sweet, adventurous, and absolutely gorgeous 1-year-old, 29lb. female Australian Shepherd who loves dogs and people of all ages and sizes. Kai loves to play - whether playing chase, wrestling with another dog, or chasing a toy her foster mom throws. She is house trained - has had no accidents in her foster home - and is crate trained. She sleeps in her crate quietly each night. When she's excited, she likes to carry a soft toy. She also enjoys chewing on a bone or working on a frozen pumpkin pupsicle. She walks well on leash and especially enjoys pack walks with her foster siblings. She has been exposed to cats in her foster home and has done well but she would very likely chase them if they ran. She doesn't ride in the car often and has experienced some car sickness when she has. She is eager to please and loads of fun. Kai will make a special family very happy. We are requiring a large, secure fenced yard for her to run in. Aussies require a lot of mental stimulation, physical activity/exercise and training. We prefer a home that has Aussie breed experience. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Kai, please complete an application and tell us more about your family.February 10, 2025, 6:04 pm

Story
Daisy is 11 years old and the sweetest lap dog. She listens well and knows simple commands. She is great with children, dogs, and cats but does have some food behavioral issues. We have had her since she was three months old and LOVES to play catch. We are forced to rehome her due to unforeseen moving. It is heartbreaking but we know the right home will help the wound.

Story
Dylan is looking for his forever home! We believe he is 9 yo and don’t know much about his past. He came to ASF thin, scared, and matted. Despite his past, he has flourished in his foster home. Dylan is a black tri that is about 35lbs and has limited vision in his left eye, it is not a blue eye. He is very tolerant and does well with brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, teeth brushing, taking medication, ect. He is scared of the noise clippers make. He is not a fan of most forms of water but enjoys playing in the rain. He is a very low energy pup. He will do best in a home with someone who is retired or works from home. He is crate trained. He does not enjoy car rides or leash walks as they stress him out. He struggles with separation anxiety, as many Aussies do, but he also gets stress related poops. He is best kenneled if leaving the house to avoid messes. Dylan is a very sweet pup that is learning to love the good life. He enjoys strolls around the yard, rolling in the grass, and taking a nap at foster mom’s feet. He gets the zoomies anytime foster mom comes back from the grocery store. He is okay with other dogs as long as they allow him his space. Because of his vision he gets nervous when other dogs are in his face. He also does well with other small animals as he is very gentle. He does not climb or jump so you don’t have to worry about him hopping up on the couch or bed, unless you put him there. He is food motivated and gets very excited for meals. He has picked up some tricks from his fellow housemates, like giving his paw for pets, and pressing some of the talking buttons. He is sometimes nervous around new people but is quickly appeased with treats and pets. Dylan is a nervous Nelly that has had a tough life but is a very sweet and gentle boy. He has the best Dobby ears and bleps anytime he falls asleep. If you are looking for a low energy Aussie , Dylan may be your man! He is neutered and up to date on shots. Here is the link to the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family.
