COURTESY POST: Sally isn't in HMF's care. We are posting her for another rescue. Sally is 3-4 year lab Australian shepherd mix who is a bundle of fun. She loves attention, playing with you, and going for walks. She has great has crate and leash manners. Sally is always excited to meet people and is food motivated. She is a VERY quick and eager learner and wants to please you. She seems to understand going potty outside. She knows the basic commands of sit and shake. Sally loves to go to the dog park and play with other dogs and seems to be cat friendly. She is just a pleaser. Sally's forever home needs to have a fenced in yard with an active life-style or could just be a couch potato. Sally is just happy to be with you. He is a blind neuro boy and because of this it will take time and patience for him to adjust. He may act out in fear. He occasionaly has night terrors. He will need to get familiar with his new person's scent and voice to know they are near. We are looking for a special person, preferably who has experience with a blind pup and Is willing to discuss and work with him. Link is very fearful of other animals and would do best in a home with only adult humans and a fenced yard. He will always be a pup. Link has an amazing personality and is very loving, especially to those who give him belly rubs and food (his two favorite things). He knows his crate is a safe place and gets very comfortable. He loves to run and play in the yard. He will be some work for the right individual who can help him blossom. Link is medium in size, he has grown more than expected.CARE's adoption process is done by the applicant using their cell at the adoption meeting to access the Shelterluv platform to agree to the adoption contract and pay the $250 adoption fee by credit or debit card. Online Adoption Application › CARE's adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies and an additional $150 neuter deposit will be required for any animals adopted prior to their spay/neuter surgery (and the deposit will be refunded when proof of surgery has been submitted). All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, as well as microchipped. CARE is an all-volunteer and foster-based rescue organization. We do not have a shelter facility and do not have any employees monitoring inbound applications and emails. Applications are reviewed by each animal’s volunteer foster home. It may be several days before you hear from this animal’s foster home.
