Meet Tokyo! A devoted four-year-old Australian Shepherd currently in Monrovia, MD, whose blue merle coat shimmers like a watercolor masterpiece and whose loyalty runs deep as a river. Tokyo is the kind of girl who forms powerful bonds with her people. Obedient and incredibly smart, she responds to a wide array of commands from “go to your bed” to “turn around” and loves nothing more than staying close to her trusted human companions. Walks? She’s a dream! On or off leash, she moves with grace and attentiveness, though her true joy blossoms when she’s leash-free, trotting happily beside her person with frisbee in tow. Frisbee is, in fact, her greatest joy! She could play fetch for hours, leaping and sprinting with enthusiasm, her eyes bright with excitement. This playful spirit is paired with a gentle desire to be near her favorite humans, always keeping a watchful eye from the window when they’re away, patiently awaiting their return. I’m feisty because I don’t let big dogs intimidate me, they rough house with me and I do it right back (silly goose’s didn’t expect my little self to be as courages as I am!!)
