Story
Bandit is a year and a half Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix. He’s a very loving, sweet, gentle, silly dog. He loves to play, especially ball. He loves kids and other dogs. I have 2 little boys, and 2 other dogs and they all love him. He’s very protective. He loves to cuddle and be loved on. I unfortunately can’t have 3 dogs. I’m expecting my first baby and it’s just too much on me. I would keep him if I could because he really is such a sweetie. I got him from a farm breeder when he was about 4 months old and I’ve never had any problems with him. He stays right in the yard with me when I’m doing yard work. He plays amazing with my kids. He’s really an amazing dog. He would do very well wherever he goes. If you have any other questions please don’t hesistate to ask! I have all records at canton animal hospital, Canton MI.He’s up to date on all shots. Has no medial problems. He’s exactly 50 pounds. Not fixed!!!Reach out if you think he would be a good fit in your home!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Susie is a beautiful Aussie mix. She is a 2 years old and is 70lbs. Susie is fearful when meeting new people and takes time to be comfortable. It may take multiple meet and greets for Susie. She would do best in a quiet house with a consistent routine. She does jump up on people when she is happy to see them. She loves to play with toys and other dogs her size with proper introduction. She does love to chew Nyla bones and antlers. She will bark when someone comes to the door and she sees things in the yard. She is housebroken and knows some basic commands. Susie is not good with cats. She is an active dog but calms down in the house. Susie would love a fenced in yard to play in. She will bark at things she sees when outside in the yard. She would not be good in an apartment. If you are interested in Susie fill out an application. HDDCR requires a spay/neuter contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter.&#226&#128&#139 Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a    $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee    to change information.   Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 17, 2025, 7:49 am

Story
Livvy is a 6-month-old Australian Shepherd with a soft heart and a playful spirit. She may be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, her tail starts to wag, and her sweet personality shines through. Livvy loves gentle affection, playtime with her favorite toys, and curling up nearby once she’s tuckered out. She’s a smart girl—typical of her breed—and is already learning the ropes of good manners. With a patient, loving family who can give her the time and encouragement she needs to build confidence, Livvy will blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion.Livvy does well with other pets and would love a friendly dog buddy to help show her the world isn’t so scary. A home with a yard or someone who enjoys outdoor adventures would be a bonus—she loves to explore once she’s comfortable! She does not do well riding in cars so she can only be adopted locally. Her adoption fee is $275.If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a heart full of love and a playful sparkle waiting to emerge, Livvy might just be your perfect match. Story
Mr Judge He’s a very active and highly intelligent dude.If you need a frisbee type dog he is perfect. He went from the crazy dog at the intake facility to the perfect foster dog.Granted he can jump up and check the top of the refrigerator for you if need be.But he also sleeps at my feet as he is now as I’m writing this. He isn’t afraid of storms or bothered by being left alone,He doesn’t chew up household items or potty in the house.Does great with a dozens puppies, a cat and his dozen foster roommates.Walks great and would hike for miles. No way suited for apartments or a no fence yard.Nor would he thrive in a lazy environment or with non active households. He’s great with kids.Great with sign language commands and would make an awesome service dog, And would be equally as great on a farm or with multiple animals.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN.
