East Tn and out of state is welcome! These pups are being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee listed under adopt a pet m. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Meet the flower puppies. We have three boys and four little girls. They have had their first round of shots yesterday. They will be getting dewormed and microchipped this weekend. We need to make an appt to have them spayed and neutered in a few weeks. We will be accepting pre adoption applications for them shortly at petpath.org. Our puppy adoption fee is 350 and with that they will be vaccinated at least two puppy vaccines, bordetella vaccine, rabies if of age, microchipped and spay or neutered. They will come with a toy box, a couple of toys, leash, collar and a brand new bed (items not available of utilizing transport company) We are told they may be about 8-9 weeks old now. The momma dog passed away and the finders are uncertain why. She was malnourished emaciated and just passed away. She was found with these puppies under a shed. The property owners moved and left the momma dog. The finder was paid to move the shed and found them and couldn’t leave them there. They fed and took care of them for three weeks. We are thankful they have a heart and helped this little family. Now it’s our turn to help get their vaccines and spay and neutered and them find amazing homes. Apply at petpath.org

Story
This boy was brought back because he was too much of a puppy who chewed because he was left alone and bored. So he is on the hunt for a family who will understand his needs and keep him busy!! He has a lot of energy and playing is his thing. He likes to play with other dogs, chew on toys and run run run. He does fine with kids, will have to learn about cats. He will need some work on housetraining and leashes. He is a bit stubborn when learning manners so will need a family who can work with that. A routine that occupies his time would also be a plus as that works with his breed mix. He is a sweet boy that has a wonderfully fun personality who just wants to live to the fullest. He needs a life full of adventures and activities and we know that family is out there for him. Dax is being fostered in TN but no worries because we use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. They transport every weekend alternating between the Northeast and the Midwest.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Susie is a beautiful Aussie mix. She is a 1 year old and is 40lbs. Susie is fearful when meeting new people and takes time to be comfortable. She does jump up on people when she is happy to see them. She loves to play with toys and other dogs. She does love to chew Nyla bones and antlers. She will bark when someone comes to the door and she sees things in the yard. She is housebroken and knows some basic commands. Susie will chase cats when they run and may try and play rough with them. She is an active dog but calms down in the house..Susie would love a fenced in yard to play in. She will bark at things she sees went outside in the yard. She would not do good in an apartment.Susie would be a great family dog. HDDCR requires a spay/neuter contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter.&#226&#128&#139 Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a    $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee    to change information.   Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. We process applications ONLY - there is no guarantee that you will get a response to an inquiry. MEET RANGER! Ranger is a sweet and social pup who is looking for a loving forever home. Born on May 1, 2024, Ranger's mom was a purebred Labrador Retriever, and his dad was a purebred Australian Shepherd, so he is sure to grow into a stunningly handsome dog! Ranger was surrendered to our rescue after the fourth accidental litter produced by their parents. Both parents have since been sterilized to prevent further breeding. Ranger's personality is just beginning to develop, but he is already prove to be sweet, playful and affectionate. Ranger will need an active family lifestyle and someone patient while house training. Puppies are prone to chewing so crate training is important, along with a family that is home more often than not initially for establishing a routine and socialization. Ranger is accustomed to living with other dogs, cats, and kids, making her a great fit for a household with existing furry friends or even a family looking to add a new member to their pack. He's also had exposure to poultry and livestock and has been socialized accordingly. Ranger loves spending time outdoors and will thrive with an active family who can match his energy levels. A fenced yard or an avid walker will make the ideal candidate for Ranger; he is not a good fit for a mobile home or apartment lifestyle. Boots will make a great addition to any household. If you are interested in providing Boots with a loving forever home, please consider applying today. Puppies will remain in foster-to-adopt status until their spay/neuter surgery has been completed at 6 months of age at one of our partner Veterinary offices (Chesterfield, Clawson, Clinton Twp, Sterling Heights, or Rochester), which is included in the adoption fee and is non-negotiable.
