He’s crate trained, knows sit, down, and come, and is reportedly good with kids and new people. He enjoys other dogs and would love a canine companion. He is good with other dogs but introductions with larger dogs should be slow and thoughtful. Wilson is sweet, playful, and ready for a family who will keep him active and included! • Around 2 years old • Currently 31 bs • Good with kids and dogs • Adoption fee: $300 This dog is in foster. Include information about your family and pets, what you are looking for in a canine companion, how you plan to exercise and train this dog, and why this specific dog seems like a good fit for your family. We offer same-day adoptions, do not place holds, and work on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure the best fit for both the dog and adopter. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, preventatives, heartworm testing (if age-appropriate), microchip, and dental cleaning if needed. Future veterinary care will be the adopter’s responsibility.

This is ollie, he is my favorite boy in the world. He is a 8 year old Beagle aussie mix who is FULL of energy and life. He is so gentle, and so loving. The reason I need to rehome him is because my housing situation for the winter will be uncertain and I am relocating to alaska in January. I want to find ollie a safe loving place that can take care of him.

Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.
