Story
🆘URGENT RESCUE NEEDED 🆘 Wyatt is an 8 year old Australian Shepherd who is very loving and sweet . He will be your best friend and keep you company at all times . He loves to run around outside but also can be a couch potato . He listens extremely well and prefers to be around adults. He’s moved in a home with one or two adults his whole life . He prefers a more quiet sanctuary as he can get nervous in high activity noise and commotion . He unfortunately has bitten due to one of these circumstances where became very nervous and lashed out at my visiting grandson in 2019 . Like I said he is very sweet but needs to be in a more quiet environment. Adoption is needed immediately . If you have room in your heart for Wyatt and some patience he will give you love tenfold . Please feel free to contact me with any questions .

Story
Myles Barkley is a very sweet, but active, young'un. He adores cheek kisses, going to car rides, going for walks or runs, and just generally hanging out with his people. Myles is good with dogs, cats, and kids (but no young ones that will grab and pull on him).. He would make a great agility dog - that boy has talent, it just needs to be directed.

**In a foster home and not at the kennel but will be at the kennel most weekends. If interested in discussing Bobbie further please apply at k9stray.com. If planning to come to the shelter during open hours to meet her without applying first, please call the rescue to confirm she will be there.** What a sweet chocolate muffin! Bobbie is estimated to be about 5 months old and weighs 22 pounds right now. Bobbie is just darling and wants to be your forever cuddle and play partner. She is super sweet and just wants to be close. She is all puppy though - curious, playful, entertaining, and a lot of work. She is looking for a forever home that will provide her with the love and guidance she needs. Bobbie will also need someone who is home frequently because she can't be left alone for a long period of time due to being a puppy! Puppies require and deserve a lot of time and energy, but they will repay their families with a lifetime of unconditional love and happiness. We are looking for families to make a best friend for life! Any children in the home will have to be 8 years old or older. If you are interested in Bobbie and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*

Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Clio, MI Meet Wyatt! He is an 8 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 55 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Wyatt is good with other dogs! He hasn’t been texted around older children or cats. No younger children, due to his reactivity! Wyatt bit the owner’s grandchild in 2019. This occurred when her grandson tried to move Wyatt off of his spot on the couch, causing Wyatt to bite him. He gets nervous around falling objects and loud noises. The owner is surrendering him because she is moving out of the state and can’t take him with. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Wyatt, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Wyatt. Owner’s Contact Information: Karen at barbie628@aol.com.

East Tn and out of state is welcome! These pups are being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee listed under adopt a pet m. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Meet the flower puppies. We have three boys and four little girls. They have had their first round of shots yesterday. They will be getting dewormed and microchipped this weekend. We need to make an appt to have them spayed and neutered in a few weeks. We will be accepting pre adoption applications for them shortly at petpath.org. Our puppy adoption fee is 350 and with that they will be vaccinated at least two puppy vaccines, bordetella vaccine, rabies if of age, microchipped and spay or neutered. They will come with a toy box, a couple of toys, leash, collar and a brand new bed (items not available of utilizing transport company) We are told they may be about 8-9 weeks old now. The momma dog passed away and the finders are uncertain why. She was malnourished emaciated and just passed away. She was found with these puppies under a shed. The property owners moved and left the momma dog. The finder was paid to move the shed and found them and couldn’t leave them there. They fed and took care of them for three weeks. We are thankful they have a heart and helped this little family. Now it’s our turn to help get their vaccines and spay and neutered and them find amazing homes. Apply at petpath.org

Story
This boy was brought back because he was too much of a puppy who chewed because he was left alone and bored. So he is on the hunt for a family who will understand his needs and keep him busy!! He has a lot of energy and playing is his thing. He likes to play with other dogs, chew on toys and run run run. He does fine with kids, will have to learn about cats. He will need some work on housetraining and leashes. He is a bit stubborn when learning manners so will need a family who can work with that. A routine that occupies his time would also be a plus as that works with his breed mix. He is a sweet boy that has a wonderfully fun personality who just wants to live to the fullest. He needs a life full of adventures and activities and we know that family is out there for him. Dax is being fostered in TN but no worries because we use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. They transport every weekend alternating between the Northeast and the Midwest.
