Story
G`day mate! I`m Dezi!I`m a young, active and beautiful girl - about a year old and 52lbs - and I`m an Australian Shepherd Mix!I`m a very playful and friendly pup! I have a lot of energy, and I would benefit from a fenced in back yard to run around and play in!I`m also a very smart girl, I already know sit and am learning other commands like down; I am willing to learn more!I do have a tendency to guard my food and treats, so I appreciate my space when its feeding time. However, I do take treats nicely and am polite when being fed - just don`t try to take my food or special treats away!I would do best in an active home, especially someone that loves to run, as I have a ton of energy to burn off. I would also be a good dog for activities such as lure coursing and agility! I did lure coursing at an adoption event and I loved it!!!I love to play fetch, and will bring a toy right back to you! I love toys!I get very excited during play, but I tend to forget my manners and get a little carried away with the mouthiness. I would be best in a home with older, dog-savvy children.I can be very mouthy when it comes to playing with other dogs, and I have a lot of energy, so I may not be a good fit with just any dog. I will need to meet your dog if you have one.I do however hate cats, so I will need a home without them!I would do better with someone who has had some experience with my breed or other active breeds.I`m up to date on my vaccines, however I will need to see my new veterinarian within 2 weeks of my adoption to ensure that I stay healthy and keep on a regular vaccination schedule. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Adopted from a lady with barn litter seven years ago in the redwoods of Oregon. Wild mountain puppy needs forever home, preferably lots of outside space and no young children. Well trained, but has a mind of his own. My vet believes he had distemper as a puppy which seems to had some lasting neurological effects. It hasn’t been a problem for him , he’s just a bit quirky. He’s a great dog but he’s becoming more grumpy and has no patience for toddlers tugging on him. So he is looking to live out his senior years in peace. I recently had a baby and my priorities have shifted.

Story
Jace is roughly 2 years old, he incredibly lovable and loyal! Smartest dog I've ever had, listens very well. He loves to be given hugs and just loves to snuggle. I have another male dog though who is not fond of Jace and it is causing a lot of tension! Unfortunately since we had our other dog first we have to re-home Jace. He loves people, any people really as long as your willing to hug on him. He loves water and being outside, he has very high energy and herding instincts and needs an owner familiar with Aussie energy. He has gotten into fights with my dogs, but mostly gets a long with them. I have had him for 2 years and can count on my hands how often they have fought. I'm unsure if it's more of an isolated problem because my male is so defensive because most of the time they are fine or it could just be Jaces herding mentality I'm unsure. Jace loves children and gets along with cats. He will make the perfect family dog to the right family💜

Story
This adorable little Nugget was purchased from a breeder by a young man that became homeless two weeks after getting him. The poor little guy was living is a tiny, dirty pen in the back yard of his dads home. We happened to see him and after a few days we went and knocked on the door offering to rehome the sweet and lonely baby. He has now had two sets of shots and is neutered and microchipped. Nugget weighed 6 lbs when we got him and he now weighs 12. He will probably be between 25 and 30 lbs when fully grown. Nugget is sweet and playful but he thinks he is delicate so no rough young children or dogs. But if everyone is gentle, he is a lover of all. If you would like to add this cutie to your forever family, please email omlc7@hotmail.com of dogs4mylife@gmail.com and we will send our info and application.
