You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Domino, our newest resident at the Mikey & Me Kennels for Happy Days Rescue. Domino is a Border Collie mix, he’s 1-2 years old, he has a beautiful, long-haired coat, and he weighs about 50 pounds. He is a very social and lovable dog that thrives on being with people. Domino is a very: nice dog and he is reportedly good with other dogs and children.   Domino had his first vaccinations on October 14th and will be scheduled for his booster shots and a heart worm test real soon. He will be neutered at a later date, shortly thereafter. If you would like to meet this fluffy boy, please submit an adoption application under his name at happydaysdogandcatrescue.org. (Or, a quick-meet application can be submitted via Mikey and me.org.    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. He knows his basic commands, leads well, loads up, and rides happily in the front or back of the vehicle. Bandit was surrendered through no fault of his own and is ready for a quieter chapter. He loves water, enjoys a good game of fetch, and has been good with kids and older folks. After a lifetime of being a good companion, Bandit is ready to enjoy the easy life. ---------------- Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas. Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.
