Jerry! Jerry is a smart and playful young puppy (DOB 9/2023) that is searching for a family with the time and patience to help him develop into a wonderful family companion. Jerry is a great snuggler and loves to cuddle up! He is an eager learner and very treat motivated. He is living in a foster home with older dogs and is working on house training, crate training, and basic puppy shenanigans. He is neutered, microchipped, and has started his puppy vaccines. His adoption fee is only $225 dollars and includes a puppy socialization class. We adopt within 45 minutes of LCPC as we complete home visits prior to adoption. This cute young man was thrown out at one of the favorite dumping areas to survive on his own. There are a few dogs there that people have been trying to catch but since he was new, he was easy. He has not learned how mean people can be yet. Santa is as sweet as can be and very well behaved. We took him to the vets and he is HW negative and is now neutered and UTD on vaccines. We will also microchip him. He is fine with other dogs and all people. He seems to be housetrained, as well. We are only guessing but he looks and sounds very much like border collie/basset hound and in that part of the mountain, it is likely. Lake is an 9 month old (DoB 2/23) Border Collie/Lab mix. She is spayed, dewormed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped, and on prevention. Lake is a calm pup and a little dainty. She is crate trained and uses the doggie door. She enjoys playing with other dogs but is fine taking a toy and playing alone. Lake rides well in the car. She sits in the passenger seat enjoying the scenery like a human. She would make a great traveling dog. We think she will weigh only around 35# when grown. Lake enjoys snuggling with her human and playing with a tennis ball. She gives attention easily so should train well. Lake has a gentle and affectionate nature making her a joy to have around. Abner came to us after being given away on social media at just 4 weeks old. He is now a year old and ready to find a forever home. He is about 45 lbs and growing. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, preventions and chipped. He is a fun pup who loves to play with his foster friends and toys. He would be a great addition to any family either with another dog already or a one dog family. Are you someone looking for an activity partner, Abner can be that dog! Abner is located in middle TN, but not to worry his transport is included in the adoption fee with Rescue Riders Transport to one of their delivery locations. This beautiful girl was dumped off in the country where she stayed waiting for her owner to come back for a week. Most times she laid in the road and people had to drive around her. After a week someone called us and we went to get her. She is not only beautiful, but she is also smart and sweet. Unfortunately, she tested positive for heartworms when we took her to the vet. That was four months ago. She has now been fully treated and is ready to live a long, happy, healthy life with her new family. Irelyn is spayed and UTD on all vaccines. She loves walks, is good in the car and is housetrained. She is a dominant female so a home with easy going males would be fine. She loves to be brushed and enjoys zoomies around the yard. Daisy is a 3 month old female Border Collie/Lab mix puppy Just like all of our dogs she was placed in a wonderful foster home (not shelter) receiving LOVE and proper socialization, basic commands and started on their potty training.
