Story
My wife found Sully on Facebook when he was a puppy. He was living in a kennel inside an apartment. Sully has been with us for over 3 1/2 years. He is very energetic, loving, and craves attention. My family and I are moving and cannot take him with us. Sully needs a big yard to run or even a farm. Sully is very intelligent, I often say he is wasting his life being a normal dog. He knows the common commands, sit, stay (when treat motivated), shake, hug, and occasionally can do a trick for a treat. My wife is a Vet Tech so he has been well taken care of. Sully loves to snuggle, play outside, and eat. He has been known to kill squirrels, rabbits, and ducks. Sully is Australian Shepherd, Golden Retriever and Blue Heeler mix. He is almost 4 years old. He is great with kids, and other dogs. We will miss him.

Story
Meet Ranger, a 1.5-year-old Australian Shepherd with a heart full of love for his people and a desire to please. With his striking good looks and high energy, Ranger is sure to turn heads wherever he goes. He's a food-motivated pup and will do anything for a delicious treat. He loves to work and is always eager to please, making him the perfect companion for an active family who will keep him busy. Ranger can be a little anxious and is not the best fit for homes with young children. However, he is great around other dogs and will happily play and socialize with them. Ranger has a unique trick where he will sit pretty for you, and if you don't reward him the first time, he'll sit again and wait for his treat. With the right training and patience, Ranger has the potential to become an excellent companion and a loyal friend. If you're looking for a smart and energetic dog, Ranger is the perfect match for you. Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more info and to set up a time to meet this handsome guy. He's in the KC metro, but transport is available to the right home.

Story
This sweet and shy guy ended up at the shelter when his owner became ill. He is frightened here by all the noise and busyness of shelter life. He is gaining more confidence each day, and would love to be in a home again soon where he can feel safe and secure again. Rip is kennel trained, and we are told he is house broken as well. He loves stuffed toys, and playing in the yard. He LOVES to play fetch and is doing great in doggy play groups. Rip's birthday is 05/24/2021, he weighs just under 50 pounds, and he is neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $165 All adult dogs go on a 2 week trial adoption period to make sure they are a good fit in your home, your adoption fee is fully refundable during that period. We will take all adopted pets back into our program for the life of our pet, with a scheduled appointment. All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, Heartworm tested, and current on vaccinations and preventions prior to adoption. You can find our adoption applications here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MARQ/Dog Our shelter is located at 10312 East 63rd Street in Raytown, MO. We are open to meet pets Tuesday through Friday from 10-6, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10-5

It doesn’t last long but he definitely loves affection.. He’s not destructive with his bedding and he loves his chew toys. He really wants to bond with someone and curl up on their couch or at their feet, and be someone’s best friend forever!
