Marcus was born April 29, 2024. Both of his siblings came out with bright blue eyes like his. He is Australian Shepherd, Pit Bull Terrier, and Labrador Retriever. He weighs 50lbs, and is about knee height. A bit of a shorty, but lean, dense and very athletic with a touch of clumsiness (but he doesn’t like to be laughed at). We adopted him from a foster on July 19, 2024. He came potty trained at 3 months old… He’s spunky, energetic, and loves attention. Very protective of his person. He has attitude and can be ornery, but he is wicked smart and learns quickly. Someone who is consistent, experienced, and maintains good boundaries; offers love as reward would be perfect. He gets along very well woth other dogs, and we always thought that he’d do really well with a furry friend at home. He’s never been exposed to cats, but we bet he’d adapt. He has a sensitive tummy and can be gassy. He has never had much human food. Lovable dog; the epitome of tough onthe outside, soft on the inside.

It's with a heavy heart that we are seeking to rehome our Australian Shepherd, kazuto. Unfortunately, due to an incident where he bit our baby, we have to make the difficult decision to find him a new family that can provide the right environment and attention he needs. Kazuto is an incredibly loving dog with lots of energy and a big heart. He’s four years old, enjoys cuddles, and is a very anxious boy. He’s up-to-date on vaccinations, house-trained, has lived with a cat since he was a puppy, and knows basic commands. We believe that in the right home, with proper attention, he will thrive. We are looking for someone with a child free home who can offer a loving, safe space where he can continue to be a happy, well-loved dog. Have ya met Crenshaw? Well I have and I am obsessed!! This boy is so, so smart! He learns quickly what pleases his people and is happy to oblige them! He is very attentive when it comes to his people! He knows where they are at all times and makes sure they are safe! He plays very gently with smaller dogs and puppies and likes to keep the order! He definitely sees himself as the adult in the room. He seems to prefer smaller dogs but would do fine with a confident bigger dog. Always alert and aware, Crenshaw has your back. He listens and pays attention to everything you do and say. He's great on a leash and loves to walk. But, he's not without his quirks. He takes a bit of time to trust new prople and new situations. His fosters have been working on his "stranger danger" and he's doing much better at meeting new people, but his adopter should expect to continue his socialization. He also does not do well in a crate. After weeks of working on it, he really wants to be close to his people. He might not make a great apartment dog as he does cry and whine in his crate when no one is home, but does settle down after a bit. One of his fosters found crating him in their room at night helped. His current foster just leaves him uncontained at night and he does great , sleeping all night on the floor next to her. Crenshaw is an amazing boy, but will require an owner who is a good leader who can set boundaries. He will also need both physical exercise and mental exercise. He loves training time as much as he loves walks!!

This guy has had a tough start—spending way too much time cooped up in a kennel, which left him with some elbow sores (all healing up nicely now!) and a case of serious noise anxiety. In a town environment, every car horn or distant bark sends him into jumpy mode, like he's auditioning for a surprise party he didn't sign up for. But here's the magic: Take him out on quiet trails or just beyond the city limits, and he's your dream hiking partner! His foster family has been strolling those peaceful paths during camping trips, and he struts along like a pro—ears perked, tail wagging, totally in his element. Weekends away? Golden. Busy days with traffic and crowds? A work in progress, but oh, the potential! Leash manners are another area his family is working on—he starts off like a champ, walking politely by your side, but a sudden noise can make him bolt for the safety of the car (which, fun fact: He used to dread car rides so much he needed a little chill pill, but now? He's begging for joyrides! This boy has zero formal training under his belt yet, but with patience, positive vibes, and lots of those quiet trail walks, he's going to blossom into the most loyal, affectionate companion. His foster family is totally smitten. "I've fallen in love with him," they confessed. "He just needs time to trust the world again." And trust us—he's worth every gentle step.
