Story
💕 HALLIE 🎀 Mama Hallie is the sweetest, most affectionate girl. Now that her puppies have found their homes, it’s her turn! Hallie and her sister, Annie, were pulled from the euthanasia list at a local shelter in June. A week after they were pulled, we realized Hallie was expecting! She was the sweetest mama 🫶 Hallie is about 60lbs and about 2-3 years old. She loves going for walks, chasing squirrels in the backyard, and curling up on a bed by her foster mom’s desk. She plays wonderfully with the six other dogs in her foster home. She’s sweet, loving, and so affectionate 🥰

Story
🐾REMY🐶 Remy is a 1 year old Cur, Australian Shepherd mix that is about 40 lbs! He was found stray & terrified of humans but warmed up quicker than his foster mom ever could’ve hoped!🥰 He is very playful & acts like a puppy around the other dogs. Still a little shy and will run if he thinks you are going to catch him but he will come up to be petted or take food! Remy LOVES other dogs and plays hard, so a patient and playful pup in the home is a MUST 🐕 Remy is working on crate training and potty training, he walks fairly well on a leash & is just SO sweet. He loves toys, and his confidence is a work in progress, but we know he will be the best companion for his future family🧸 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.(YOU MUST BE WITHIN A TWO HOUR DRIVE OF GRANTVILLE PA TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN ADOPTER.) Posted 7/21/2023 Honey was aquired from another rescue.  She is extremely shy but does warm up but she will need a lot of one on one work.  I believe with the amount of progress she has made so far she just needs confidence and help to be as great as I know she can be.  Because she is so spooky she requires a fenced yard.  She has been perfectly housetrained here and wonderful in the crate.  Since she is a bit backward she will not eat or drink on front of people, and she will stay by a door knowing that is her way to bolt.  She is NOT snappy,  but will allow you to hug her.  I will not place her with any children since she does need work and she needs to be the center of attention to get her over the hump.  She has had a dental and bloodwork.  She is about 4-5 years old does require grooming  and her adoption fee is $350.  All the dogs are Spayed or Neutered, Heartworm/Lyme tested, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and overall Vet checked. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee along with an adoption kit . Application REQUIRED. Adoption fee required. If interested contact Denise @ (717) 469-7325 Email: Doggieden@aol.com The FIRST STEP to be considered for adopting a pet is to fill out the adoption application COMPLETELY . OR  thedogsden.rescuegroups.org Click on Adoption at left margin of pageVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 19, 2024, 1:14 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Darby   Lefty aka "Lulu" is a young Pomeranian mix puppy looking for her forever home. You may have noticed her front left leg doesnt look like her right leg but that doesnt stop her from taking on the world. The xrays show she was born without a bone in her leg which caused it to fold up on itself. The vet informed us she does not need it amputated and there is no general surgery to "fix" it. She is proving to be a pleasant little lap dog who loves to be loved on. Her confidence has blossomed since coming into rescue. She loves to play with toys, her favorite toy being a ball. She is working on commands such as "fetch" and is doing amazing. She is currently being fostered with cats and dogs of all sizes and is doing great with all of them. She is working on house training with the help of puppy pads and also leash training. Please apply to adopt Lefty at www.onedogatatime.us .  Please note: Lefty will not be the size of a typical Pomeranian. We do not know what her mix is, as her mom was found stray and pregnant. At her age now, she is over 10lbs.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 23, 2024, 2:11 pm
