PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Figment and his brother Pixel came into rescue a week ago. Area residents confirmed that they were dumped in a remote area, and they stayed there for a week, so sure that their owner would come back for them. Of course they didn't. Pixel and Figment were finally brought to us after being on their own for a week. They were hot, exhausted, and confused. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a foster for them, so our only choice was to put them in a pen outside. They are doing ok but they need to be in homes, out of the extreme heat. Figment is the more outgoing of the 2. He is very sweet and loving, and he loves belly rubs! We believe he is an Australian Shepherd/Poodle mix (Aussie Doodle.) He is about 6 months old and weighs 38 lbs. He will probably be 45-50lbs once fully mature. He is heartworm negative, on prevention, vaccinated, and neutered. He is good with other dogs. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.7/13 Still available! 5/10 Jak was rescued off the streets back in the coldest part of winter. His owner never came forward to claim him. Jake is a really fun, energetic boy who gets along well with all the other dogs he has encountered. He hasn't been around cats but may be a little too energetic for them, unless the home was set up to provide escape routes for the cats, where they can safely take breaks from him. We don't believe he would try to hurt one but he thinks everyone wants to play like he does. Jak is a young adult, probably 2-3 years old, and we believe he is an Australian Shepherd mix. He has not exhibited herding tendencies, but he is very agile- he can climb anything! See the last photo for proof. Jak would excel in agility training. He is also very affectionate and good natured, he just sees the world as one big playground. He is good with kids, house trained, crate trained, and knows a few basic commands. He is fully vetted. Story
It’s obvious that Chet has STAR quality! Not only is he the most handsome guy around, but he is also a very affectionate dog and he is very smart. He went to puppy school as a youngster and learned his basic commands. He being on the receiving end of his human’s attention, snuggling with them on the couch, sleeping in the bed with them and he always gives kisses freely. He’s a lot of fun too… loves to play with toys, and if you’ll throw them, he will catch and retrieve balls and frisbees. Chet is a fairly quiet and a little shy, he doesn’t like a lot of commotion around him and as was stated before, he want’s all of his human’s attention for himself. He has always lived inside and is protective of his house. That being said, he needs to be in more of a quiet, calm home and he needs to be the only dog in the home. He gets along with other dogs as long as they are laid back/submissive, but prefers not to live with them. He hasn’t been around little kids, but would be fine around older kids that would respect him and treat him with kindness. Chet will make a wonderful companion for a quiet, laid back family! He is three years old (dob 11/9/21) and weighs 40-45 pounds, has been neutered, micro-chipped, 4DX heartworm tested, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400. Chet is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Courtesy post. We are listing Matilda for a very kind couple who took her in and is fostering her until a home is found. Please share. “Matilda is a sweet, smart girl who needs an active home. We think she's about a year old. She was picked up by a rescue and adopted by a woman with mobility issues. She developed some bad habits due to boredom and when the owner went to return her to the rescue, they had shut down. The shelters in our area are all full and most of the cities around here have bans against any dog that looks remotely like a pitbull, so we took her in 4 months ago to keep her from being put down. She learns quickly and is a great dog as long as she gets physical and mental exercise daily. She has been great with our dogs and at doggy daycare. I don't know if she's ever been around cats or kids. I think she'd be fine with kids, though I'd worry about her knocking them down if they're really little. She knows basic commands, is kennel trained and potty trained, and walks well on a leash. She is spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Miracle is the definition of strength, love, and second chances. Despite enduring unimaginable hardship, this sweet and spunky boy holds no grudges—he simply wants to love and be loved. Found in rural Arkansas with a shattered jaw after being shot, Miracle went without food or water for days before a Good Samaritan saved him. He underwent three surgeries to repair his injuries, and while his jaw remains slightly misaligned, it only adds to his charm. His spirit, however, was never broken. Miracle is a happy, playful, and incredibly affectionate pup. He is eager to please, food-motivated, and easy to train. His favorite place is by his people’s side—whether he’s enjoying an energetic play session or curling up for a well-deserved nap. He is house-trained, heartworm negative, neutered, and up to date on all vaccinations. We do not know his breed. Likely a mix of several breeds.  Miracle is loyal, attentive, and always comes when called. He does well with people and loves companionship, though he’s not a fan of cats or chickens. This brave boy has been through so much, and now he’s ready for the happy ending he deserves. If you’re looking for a devoted companion with an incredible heart, Miracle is waiting for you.
