PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 4/4/24 Breezy! What a stunner! Breezy is a mixed breed dog who was found along with 2 others, abandoned in a remote area of Arkansas. This website makes us pick a breed when we list dogs, I went with Aussie and Catahoula mix, but please know she is likely very mixed of several breeds and may not have any Aussie or Catahoula at all! We believe Breezy and Timber are sisters, due to their similar coloring and age, but Breezy has a longer coat than Timber. She is a little more shy than Timber, but equally loving and sweet. They do NOT need to be adopted together. We believe she is around 2 years old and she weighs about 45 lbs. Breezy hasn't had the opportunity to be around kids but we can't imagine her not being great with them, with her loving, sweet personality. She is great with other dogs as well as cats! Breezy did have heartworm when she came into rescue, but we have had her treated and she came thru the treatment with flying colors! Being as young as she is, and having no symptoms, we do not expect she will have any long term effects; she has fully recovered. She is house and crate trained. Don't miss out on this gorgeous girl! Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. Harrisburg, PA 2am Fridays Port Jervis, NJ 5am Fridays Southington, CT 8am Fridays East Hartford, CT 11am Fridays To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. ****NO ADOPTION FEE!!!!**** There is absolutely nothing wrong with Nellie Kate, but due to the fact that we need to make room for new fosters, adoptions are slow at the moment and Nellie Kate has been here a little longer than some, WE ARE NOT CHARGING AN ADOPTION FEE ON HER! You will still have to fill out an application and be approved though and if you live in the northern states that we adopt to, you will have to pay the $135 transport fee. NELLIE KATE – LAB/AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD MIX – Email fogcarescue@gmail.com for more info and/or an application. This GORGEOUS girl will be a WONDERFUL family dog for some lucky family! She is a super sweet, friendly and happy girl. She loves people and she is especially fond of kids and seems to enjoy any personal attention that wish to lavish her with. She is great with other dogs and like most youngsters, she loves to run and play with them. I would say that her energy level is medium and she is playful, but she’s not so active that you can’t love on her. She’s a real love bug…she’ll even climb in your lap if you let her. She does pretty well on a leash and enjoys going on walks/hikes. Nellie Kate is looking for a great new family that will love her and include her in their everyday comings and goings. She is 1 ½ years old (dob 5/13/22) and weighs 48 pounds at the time of this posting 1/16/24. She has been spayed, 4DX heartworm tested, microchipped, fecal tested and is current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. Nellie Kate is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and her fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to residents of those states.

Can you say adorable? I love this litter of six…they have got to be the cutest and friendliest puppies that I’ve fostered in a long time! They are super sweet, loveable and such happy puppies! Like most puppies their age, they have plenty of energy and they love to run and play with each other. They adore people, both grown-ups and kids and the attention they receive from them as well. My grandkids have really had a ball playing with them during their stay. Kody will make a great addition to some lucky family. Since they came from a shelter we can’t be 100% sure of their breeding, but the Animal Control Officer thought they were an Australian Shepherd/Terrier mix. Some of them have curled tails and they should be medium sized when fully grown. He was born on 12/16/23 making him 4 months old at the time of this posting (4/15/24) and weighing 23 pounds. He has been neutered, micro-chipped, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400. Kody is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.(YOU MUST BE WITHIN A TWO HOUR DRIVE OF GRANTVILLE PA TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN ADOPTER.) Posted 7/21/2023 Honey was aquired from another rescue.  She is extremely shy but does warm up but she will need a lot of one on one work.  I believe with the amount of progress she has made so far she just needs confidence and help to be as great as I know she can be.  Because she is so spooky she requires a fenced yard.  She has been perfectly housetrained here and wonderful in the crate.  Since she is a bit backward she will not eat or drink on front of people, and she will stay by a door knowing that is her way to bolt.  She is NOT snappy,  but will allow you to hug her.  I will not place her with any children since she does need work and she needs to be the center of attention to get her over the hump.  She has had a dental and bloodwork.  She is about 4-5 years old does require grooming  and her adoption fee is $350.  All the dogs are Spayed or Neutered, Heartworm/Lyme tested, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and overall Vet checked. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee along with an adoption kit . Application REQUIRED. Adoption fee required. If interested contact Denise @ (717) 469-7325 Email: Doggieden@aol.com The FIRST STEP to be considered for adopting a pet is to fill out the adoption application COMPLETELY . OR  thedogsden.rescuegroups.org Click on Adoption at left margin of pageVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 11, 2024, 10:20 pm

💕 HALLIE 🎀 Mama Hallie is the sweetest, most affectionate girl. Now that her puppies have found their homes, it’s her turn! Hallie and her sister, Annie, were pulled from the euthanasia list at a local shelter in June. A week after they were pulled, we realized Hallie was expecting! She was the sweetest mama 🫶 Hallie is about 60lbs and about 2-3 years old. She loves going for walks, chasing squirrels in the backyard, and curling up on a bed by her foster mom’s desk. She plays wonderfully with the six other dogs in her foster home. She’s sweet, loving, and so affectionate 🥰
