It’s obvious that Chet has STAR quality! Not only is he the most handsome guy around, but he is also a very affectionate dog and he is very smart. He went to puppy school as a youngster and learned his basic commands. He being on the receiving end of his human’s attention, snuggling with them on the couch, sleeping in the bed with them and he always gives kisses freely. He’s a lot of fun too… loves to play with toys, and if you’ll throw them, he will catch and retrieve balls and frisbees. Chet is a fairly quiet and a little shy and he want’s all of his human’s attention for himself. That being said, he needs to be the only dog in the home. He gets along with other dogs as long as they are laid back/submissive, but prefers not to live with them. He hasn’t been around little kids, but would be fine around older kids that would respect him and treat him with kindness. Chet will make a wonderful companion for some lucky family! He is three years old (dob 11/9/21) and weighs 40-45 pounds, has been neutered, micro-chipped, 4DX heartworm tested, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400. Chet is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

Wyatt is available through Animal Rescue, Inc in New Freedom, PA. He would love a home with at least one other dog to play with all day, its actually a must for him. Wyatt loves to play tug with his buddies when they aren`t chasing each other around the large fenced yard. He is about a year old and has a lot of energy, so a job of some sort would be great. Wyatt does tend to herd other dogs and likes to play with your hands, though we have been working on that, so older kids/teens would probably be best. He loves to drink water as your pouring it. Wyatt sleeps in his crate at night, which provides a break for his companions too, but he does like to just chill in there off and on during the day too. He can take a bit to warm up to men, but mine have found that collagen puff treats help a lot. Wyatt is eager to please and recently attended a board and train, so it is important that his new family will continue to reinforce what he learned there so he can be his very best self.

A Sweet, Energetic Boy Looking for a loving home. With a heavy heart, we are looking to rehome our dog, Travis. He turned 3 years old on May 10, 2025, and is a spirited, affectionate pup originally from Arkansas. Travis is full of love and loyalty, and he thrives when he has someone who can spend quality time with him and provide plenty of exercise. Travis is great with our two young children, but struggles with anxiety around other young kids;especially in our high foot traffic home. While he has never bitten anyone, the constant commotion and stimulation have been tough for him to manage. He lives with our older Labrador and a cat, and while he and our Lab do have a strong bond, Travis sometimes gets overexcited and will nip the Lab. His energy can be a bit much for our senior dog. We are heartbroken to make this decision, but with another baby on the way, we realize our home is simply too overwhelming for Travis'needs right now. We are seeking a loving, stable home.

Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families. We have many sponsorship dogs. Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :) So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue. Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding. Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Image growing up in a yard with a human throwing you food over a fence and pouring water in your already dirty water day after day. The human never touched you or the other three dogs in the yard and you lived outside like this summer, winter spring and fall until finally 8 years into your life someone reported your owner to the authorities and they finally came to save you! You found yourself placed in a box separate from the only friends you had ever known. Taken to a noisy shelter, poked, probed, bathed and then stuck in a kennel alone. WOW SCARY right??? Well that was the experience for Max's, his best friend Moose and his 2 other fur buddies. Unfortunately the oldest of the 4 was quite ill and passed away :( The other one was adopted and seems to be doing well. Max's was very shut down until the shelter staff placed him with Moose and then they saw Max's come back to life! We couldn't allow Max's to lose the only friend he has ever had on this earth so we are taking both boys and they will only be adopted as a bonded pair with a contract signed that they will NOT be separated!! Max's & Moose will have to learn to live in a home, walk on a leash and understand what it is like to be valued and actually LOVED by a human.
