Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.(YOU MUST BE WITHIN A TWO HOUR DRIVE OF GRANTVILLE PA TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN ADOPTER.) Posted 7/21/2023 Honey was aquired from another rescue.  She is extremely shy but does warm up but she will need a lot of one on one work.  I believe with the amount of progress she has made so far she just needs confidence and help to be as great as I know she can be.  Because she is so spooky she requires a fenced yard.  She has been perfectly housetrained here and wonderful in the crate.  Since she is a bit backward she will not eat or drink on front of people, and she will stay by a door knowing that is her way to bolt.  She is NOT snappy,  but will allow you to hug her.  I will not place her with any children since she does need work and she needs to be the center of attention to get her over the hump.  She has had a dental and bloodwork.  She is about 4-5 years old does require grooming  and her adoption fee is $350.  All the dogs are Spayed or Neutered, Heartworm/Lyme tested, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and overall Vet checked. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee along with an adoption kit . Application REQUIRED. Adoption fee required. If interested contact Denise @ (717) 469-7325 Email: Doggieden@aol.com The FIRST STEP to be considered for adopting a pet is to fill out the adoption application COMPLETELY . OR  thedogsden.rescuegroups.org Click on Adoption at left margin of pageVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 1, 2024, 6:27 pm

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 4/4/24 Timber is a beautiful mixed breed dog who was found along with 2 others, abandoned in a remote area of Arkansas. Timber is friendly and sweet natured. This website makes us pick a breed when we list dogs, I went with Aussie and Catahoula mix, but please know she is likely very mixed of several breeds and may not have any Aussie or Catahoula at all! We believe she is around 2 years old and she weighs about 45 lbs. Timber hasn't had the opportunity to be around kids but we can't imagine her not being great with them, with her loving, sweet personality. She is great with other dogs as well as cats! Timber did have heartworm when she came into rescue, but we have had her treated and she came thru the treatment with flying colors! Being as young as she is, and having no symptoms, we do not expect she will have any long term effects; she has fully recovered. She is house and Crate trained. Don't miss out on this beauty! Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. They are now safely tucked away with one of our wonderful foster families, but they will soon be ready for homes of their own! They will be neutered next week and they have had 2 sets of puppy vaccinations. We don't know what breed they are, but they seem to be on the small side. Maybe Aussie mix? We really don't know, but what we do know is that they are all very friendly, sweet babies. My guess is they will be around 35lbs when grown. They are currently about 9 wks old.
