Story
DOB 8-20-2023 Ralph is just a good boy, he gets along well with others, loves to run and play and is social. He is neutered, heartworm negative and has received a Proheart 6 injection. His adoption fee is 600.00, transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS, they run every 2 weeks. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick then Joey will fill the bill. Joey loves to play with other dogs, but he’d rather be right by your side if given the option. This gorgeous tricolor male, was listed as a collie at the shelter. He is too small to be a rough collie and doesn’t look or act like a border collie. We think he looks and acts more like a cross between an Australian Sheperd and an English Sheperd, both of which are very intelligent breeds. Joey is full of energy and will definitely need a fenced yard. He walks well on a leash, even though he pulls a bit and he rides well in a car. He is a little thin at 35 pounds and should probably weigh between 40 and 45 pounds. Joey was picked up as a stray and is 3-5 years old according to our vet. Joey has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on vaccinations. Unfortunately, Joey tested heartworm positive so he has been started on the doxycycline protocol which is the “slow kill” method to eliminate his heartworms. His adoption donation is $450 which includes the $165 transport fee. Joey is being fostered in Arkansas. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. Story
It’s obvious that Chet has STAR quality! Not only is he the most handsome guy around, but he is also a very affectionate dog and he is very smart. He went to puppy school as a youngster and learned his basic commands. He being on the receiving end of his human’s attention, snuggling with them on the couch, sleeping in the bed with them and he always gives kisses freely. He’s a lot of fun too… loves to play with toys, and if you’ll throw them, he will catch and retrieve balls and frisbees. Chet is a fairly quiet and a little shy and he want’s all of his human’s attention for himself. That being said, he needs to be the only dog in the home. He gets along with other dogs as long as they are laid back/submissive, but prefers not to live with them. He hasn’t been around little kids, but would be fine around older kids that would respect him and treat him with kindness. Chet will make a wonderful companion for some lucky family! He is three years old (dob 11/9/21) and weighs 40-45 pounds, has been neutered, micro-chipped, 4DX heartworm tested, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400. Chet is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

Story
This BEAUTIFUL little lady is Sydney and she is a SWEETHEART if I ever saw one! She has a fairly gentle and easy going demeanor that makes her a joy to be around. During her stay here she has been a very good girl, she hasn’t bothered anything, she’s not a big barker, she keeps her quarters neat, doesn’t chew on anything and she gets along well with the other dogs. What else could you ask for? She also enjoys being around people, both adults and kids, and is always ready to partake in any kind of personal attention that they wish to lavish her with. She particularly likes to stay in close proximity to her human. Sydney will make a wonderful family pet for some lucky family. The vet estimated her to be 3-4 years old and she weighs 55 pounds. She has been spayed, 4DX heartworm tested, microchipped, fecal tested and is current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Story
My name’s Denver, and I am a 6-year-old Aussisoodle with a big heart and an even bigger love for fun! I love running through the grass, chasing balls, and rolling in the sunshine. I get along great with other doggos too, we can play tag all day! When I’m not being silly, I’m actually a really good guard dog. I will always let you know if someone’s at the door (even if it’s just the mailman). I’m smart, cuddly, and ready to find my forever family.
