Hi! My name is Ozzy, and I arrived at OPH on 1/9/2026. I am Estimated to be a 2 year old Australian Shepherd mix. I have only been with Foster mom for a short time, but here is what she has to say about me so far: - I am very friendly and outgoing. Everyone is my friend! - I am good with other dogs - I love the car and will jump right in. Sometimes I think car rides equal snuggle time, so I needed to be seatbelted in to keep me out of foster mom's lap. - I LOVE toys, especially squeaky balls. Want to play fetch?? - I am high energy (typical for my breed); I'd love a hiking or running buddy! Lets do all the outdoor activities! - I haven't had any accidents in the house - I like the crate! It’s obvious that Chet has STAR quality! Not only is he the most handsome guy around, but he is also a very affectionate dog and he is very smart. He went to puppy school as a youngster and learned his basic commands. He being on the receiving end of his human’s attention, snuggling with them on the couch, sleeping in the bed with them and he always gives kisses freely. He’s a lot of fun too… loves to play with toys, and if you’ll throw them, he will catch and retrieve balls and frisbees. Chet is a fairly quiet and a little shy and he want’s all of his human’s attention for himself. That being said, he needs to be the only dog in the home. He gets along with other dogs as long as they are laid back/submissive, but prefers not to live with them. He hasn’t been around little kids, but would be fine around older kids that would respect him and treat him with kindness. Chet will make a wonderful companion for some lucky family! He is three years old (dob 11/9/21) and weighs 40-45 pounds, has been neutered, micro-chipped, 4DX heartworm tested, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400. Chet is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

DOB 8-20-2023 Ralph is just a good boy, he gets along well with others, loves to run and play and is social. He is neutered, heartworm negative and has received a Proheart 6 injection. His adoption fee is 600.00, transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS, they run every 2 weeks. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick, the Joey is your guy. We think this gorgeous, tricolor male could be a cross between an Australian Shepard and an English Shepard, both of which are very intelligent breeds. He would be the perfect dog for someone who works from home. Joey walks well on a leash, even though he pulls a bit, and rides well in a car. Joey gets along well with other dogs and loves to play with the dogs in his foster home. Joey would make a great hiking buddy as he is always ready for an adventure. He was picked up as a stray and is guesstimated to be between 3-5 years old. Due to his activity level, we think he is closer to 3 years old. Joey has been neutered, is to up to date on vaccinations and is microchipped. Unfortunately, Joey did test positive for heartworms. Since he is asymptomatic for heartworms, he is on the slow kill method to eliminate them, and he should test negative in a year or two. In the meantime, he can live life normally without any restrictions. Joey’s adoption donation is $450 which includes the $165 transport fee. Joey is being fostered in Arkansas.
