Story
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped. * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption Fee: $800 Capone is a 2 year old French Bulldog x English Bulldog mix who is ready to capture your heart! Capone was rescued from the shelter after his former home was no longer able to give him the care he deserved. We agreed to scoop him up and he’s been brightening our lives with his goofy smile ever since! Capone is 27 pounds of pure love and happiness, he is truly the best. If you are ready for an adorable and awesome guy, bring our Capone home before someone else snatches him up! Capone is an affectionate, happy go lucky dog with a heart of gold and a smile that melts hearts. He adores his people, following them around faithfully (especially because they sometimes drop yummy snacks on the ground). He makes friends wherever he goes, grinning as he trots around the block. Like any Bulldog, this dude seriously loves his snacks. From kibble to watermelon to yogurt to apples, he is a culinary canine! Cap is the perfect blend of energy. He is always up for a game of fetch or a walk, but he is also content to chill on the couch and enjoy a long nap. You will never lose Capone when he sleeps as his hilarious snorty snores fill the room. Cap is such a big time giver and will surround you with so much love. We promise you will be the talk of the town as he fills up your social calendar. How amazing! Capone starts his day around 6 AM with a trip out for potty followed by a morning treat. He hangs out on the couch for a while getting his belly rubbed until breakfast at 8 AM. Once he eats, he goes out on his morning sniff walk followed by a well-deserved morning nap. He snacks on some veggies during the afternoon at lunch time before going out into the yard for playtime and yard supervision. Capone loves to lounge in the shade as the world goes by, hanging with his foster brother. He gets his dinner at 6 PM when his foster parents come home from work. He heads out for another walk at 7 PM once the weather cools down. In the evening, he hangs out on the couch and gets some snuggles as he unwinds from the day. After one last potty trip. he settles down for the night at 10 PM. Capone lives with a dog in his foster home and they get along fabulously. He loves to play with dogs and humans alike. He is a bit of a bowling ball so if you aren’t used to a bully breed prepare for fun! He walks fabulously on a leash and politely greets his canine friends. Cap would do well in any home ready for a loyal pal. You won’t find a more handsome hippo than our buddy Capone, we promise! He will steal your heart faster than you can put your hands up!
