Birdie is a cuddly ~8 year old bulldog we’ve had the pleasure of loving for the last 5 years. We never could have imagined our time together would end like this like this but shes struggled to acclimate since we had a baby. it’s clear her best life is no longer with us. She is not aggressive, but she’s too agitated. We adopted her from a shelter after a breeder surrendered her. Since joining our family she’s been sweet and affectionate with no resource guarding nor fear of humans. She’s a 55-pound lap dog, whose preferred life would be snuggling up next to you on the couch, something that has filled us with joy for years. Since she does not get along well with other dogs, it’d be best if she was the only animal. Similarly, a house without small children. She’ll make it worth your while. This dog will literally hug you back. She’s overall a very healthy bulldog, spayed up-to-date on all her shots. She only takes a daily pill to manage skin allergies common to the breed.

Meet parvo survivor Gertie aka GREEDY Gertie. Sometimes when our sick puppies don't eat for a while they become a little bit obsessed with food. Thats miss Gertie!!! She came to us with her spine showing and now is a chunky monkey and could use a diet. Current weight 45 lbs Gertie is around a year best breed guess is French Bulldog/Bully mix. This girl is a tank!!! She loves to eat, cuddle and wrestle. We think she lived outside because potty training has been a struggle. She also had ongoing diarrhea so it took awhile to clear that up. Her tail is definately a backyard breeder crop job. Now that shes all healthy shes ready to go. Gertie has been great with people and other dogs has not been around any kids yet. She would prob be fine but might steal their food. Gertie is fixed, chipped, fully vaccinated and on Nexgard. Story

English Bulldog Age: 4-5 yrs old Female, Spayed 45 lbs Adoption Fee: Donation (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Petunia was found as a stray and turned into the local shelter. The shelter spayed her and performed nasal surgery to assist with breathing. But then she was scheduled to be euthanized (for reasons that just aren’t clear to us). We pulled her the day before her euthanasia date. English bulldogs in general have LOTS of medical issues. She was overweight and has some spinal issues (spondylosis deformans). Due to her spinal condition, she has had some minor urinary incontinence issues. She is very much house trained (peeing and pooping outside or in designated inside locations), but when we first got her, there were a couple incidents of “bed wetting” caused when she laid in a certain position. Our vet started her on a medication called Proin and she has lost some weight. We haven’t seen any bed wetting occurrences since. While in our care, she developed a corneal abrasion in one of her eyes, caused by a lower, in-turned eyelid. Entropion eyelid surgery was done by our vet and her eye is much better. In addition to Proin, she is also on Galliprant and Cosequin supplement. Petunia LOVES attention from people, any and all people. With other dogs we would have to say that she is “dog selective.” She is surrounded by other dogs all the time and is fine with those dogs. She ignores them with the exception of a French bulldog named Francine. They hang out and occasionally play together. However, when we bring new dogs into the adoption area (which are usually small dogs) she will go after them. She is also very reactive to dogs when she goes to the vet’s office. In the right setting, with an EXPERIENCED English Bulldog owner and slow introductions, she could possibly live with another dog - maybe another bulldog who is friendly.
