Story
Skips is a five year old beagle with the traditional loud beagle howl. He follows his nose everywhere and so he would be best placed in a house with a yard. He does tend to be fearful and timid, but can be won over with lots of treats. Once you've earned his trust you can look forward to the best of cuddles. We're really looking to place Skips and Marty (the husky in the picture) together in the same home, but if we have to split them up, Skips would be best placed in a home with another smaller dog. It may take time to adjust, so we're looking for something transitional where we don't just drop him off and say goodbye. We truly want him to grow and love his new family. So if it takes a few weeks that's ok! We're also ok with an open adoption! haha Would love to see pics of him from time to time living his best life in his new home. ✔ Housetrained ✔ Knows commands "sit" "come" & "kennel up"

Unfortunately I tried to keep my dogs and actually let my house go into foreclosure. I sold it at the last minute and Tebow is not suited to apartment living. Cookie and Tebow would like to remain together but I realize that may not be possible.

Sweet, mostly lazy dog with anxiety. Great guard dog! Will notify you if anyone is near your home. All bets are off if they come inside lol. He's all bark and no bite. Difficult to go on walks because he's afraid of passing cars, bikes, strollers, or anything he can feel the vibration of in his paws. Loves chasing squirrels, rabbit, birds, and chipmunks in the backyard. Loves going to the dog park. He's a big softie.

Story
All our dogs are spayed/neutered and fully vetted. Senior dogs receive extra bloodwork and we try to do dental cleanings on any dogs that need them. Most of the dogs in our care are crate-trained and cat tested. We test with kids when we can. Our process can seem involved and long - we appreciate your patience. Adopting a dog is not like buying a candy bar in the checkout lane; it should never be a last-minute decision or one that is not fully thought out. Asher is a sweet awesome boy about 6 years old.  All he wants to do is be with you and be loved on.   We rescued Asher just in the nick of time. He was pretty sick and probably wouldn't have live much longer in the shelter. On top of a very serious resperatory infection he also had heartworms and a bad foot. At first no one realized how bad the foot was (including the vet) until a few months later when the infection had spread. He ended up needing to have the leg amputated, but it hasn't effected him one bit, other than he is now feeling great and his personality in now really showing. Asher would be a great addition to any family, one with other pets or one without. He is very much a people dog, but gets along great with other Dogs, Cats and Kids... perfect for any family. If you a looking for a companion just to hang out with and snuggle... Asher is your guy. Ascher is currently being fostered about 2 hours south of Atlanta. We hope to bring him to Atlanta as soon as we have an open foster home in the area. Like what you see? Fill out our online application! We work on a first received, first approved, first adopted basis. We definitely encourage people who are interested in adopting, even if they haven't found the right dog yet, to fill out an application. Our process can take as long as two weeks (we work day jobs!) so having an already approved application speeds things up considerably when you see a dog that catches your eye. May 22, 2023, 1:16 pm

We believe he has probably spent most of his life outdoors and is slowly learning to enjoy the benefits of being indoors and loved by humans. He is beginning to trust more and more and get closer to his foster family. Do you have it in your heart to give this boy the life he deserves. He has lots of love and life to give.   Like what you see? Fill out our online application! We work on a first received, first approved, first adopted basis. Story
Darling Biscuit was rescued at the end of January after being found with a gunshot wound and a shattered jaw. He is still recovering, wearing a brace on his jaw...but he is doing so incredibly well, he would absolutely be ready to be adopted and finish his healing with his furever family! Biscuit came out of the vet a totally different dog than he went in. He came out with gratitude, happiness and some spunk! He knew he was being saved! Biscuit is doing great, eating and finally drinking out of a bowl again. He totally runs his pack of k9 foster siblings! He gets along great with all of them and is a confident sweet boy! Biscuit would be great with any dog and children! He would prefer to be in a home with another dog!

Story
Rachel is a petite and sweet older gal! She is a beagle mix, born on 1-16-14, and is the perfect size weighing only 28lbs. This beautiful girl was left by her family at the shelter in 2022, and was very fearful of everything. Rachel has spent time with a trainer gaining confidence and learning what the good life is like! She is low/medium energy, and is perfectly house trained and crate trained. She has good leash manners and walks nicely on leash. Rachel loves playing with other dogs, but it is unknown how she would do with cats. She is very timid when meeting new people but will quickly warm up with treats! Due to her timid nature, a home with no young kids would be best. Rachel is fully vetted and ready to find her forever family! She would love a family who will commit to her for the rest of her years, and provide her with the love she deserves. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about Rachel, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org. If you would like to adopt this sweet girl, please submit an application for her at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.June 5, 2023, 11:20 pm

Story
Murray Roy is a very sweet and shy 11 year old male beagle. His family decided they just didn’t have time for him. His needs are few- just a safe home and a little love.  Murray deserves to spend his golden years in a loving home. He is easy going and gets along with other dogs. It is recommended that Murray is adopted by an all female, child free home. He would also do best in a quiet home. He’s a very good boy.     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms    Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:  Some apartments and neighbo rhoods have breed restrictions.
