Odie is a fun, loving, sweet boy. He is 8 years old, fully house trained, good with kids, other dogs and cats. He loves to be outside to lay down and watch the squirrels. Inside he loves to snuggle or play with dog toys. He could be with a family or just one on one and thrive. If you are looking for a sidekick, Odie is your boy! Odi is estimated to be 8 years old and 45 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Moto is a sweet, low-riding pup with adorable basset hound legs and a heart full of love. He gets along great with other dogs and loves to follow his foster sibling around the yard—he’s so short, he can even stroll right under her belly! Moto approaches every day with joyful enthusiasm, whether it’s playing with the resident dog, going for walks around the neighborhood, or snuggling on the couch with his nose resting on his foster’s shoulder. During the day, Moto is content to relax on his dog bed nearby while his foster works from home. He’s crate-trained, sleeps peacefully through the night, and does great when left alone, either in the crate or without it. He knows the basic commands of “sit” and “down” and walks well on a leash with occasional reminders to slow down, though he does find squirrels very exciting. Once he gets to know you, Moto’s expressive nature shines—his ears and voice tell you everything he’s feeling. His ears perk straight up when he’s excited, lay back on his head to listen when he walks ahead, and flop to the sides when he’s relaxed. He gives wide, squeaky yawns in the morning, may whine if he’s feeling lonely, yips excitement when it is time for a walk, and grunts when he is uncertain. He also has a deep, loud bark when he is alarmed or to alert that he needs to go out. That isn’t frequent, but might not be ideal for apartment living. Hi, my name is Maggie Mae. I am from Tennessee. From her foster: Maggie Mae is sweet and cuddly. She loves walks and naps and belly rubs. She is fully housetrained and so far does well in the crate. She also has done just fine for short stretches alone without being crated, and she walks ok on leash. She’s working on not weaving/pulling. She isn't strongly food motivated, but she is highly motivated by praise and head scratches. She is working on basic commands and learning quickly! Maggie Mae is working on not jumping when she is excited. Maggie Mae does bark and sometimes growl when someone comes up to the door and when someone comes into the home. She loves meeting people outside or in neutral spaces. So far she has interacted well with other dogs. She hasn't met any cats. She hasn't met children but her foster parents think that she would do well with older kids.

Hi, I'm Sunny Side Up! Just like my name implies, I will make your days bright and sunny :)My foster mom says I am the sweetest and most cheerful little girl. I love playing with the other dogs in my foster home, but when they don't feel like playing, I respect their space and find a toy to play with by myself! I even met some kitty friends recently and respected their space as well!I am crate-trained and sleep soundly overnight in my crate. I am also working hard in potty training!! I figured out how to go to the door to let my foster mom know I need to go; sometimes she is just too slow. I’m doing a great job learning how to walk on a leash, and have been learning lots of tricks like ‘sit’ and ‘down’ - I am a smart girl and very great motivated! The hound dog in me gives me singular focus sometimes, but I’m learning how to shift my attention to my foster mom when she needs it. If you’re looking for the sweetest little egg, look no further! I can’t wait to find my family. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned.
