Story
Hi! My name is Charli and I am from Minnesota. From the foster: Charli is the best cuddle bug you will ever meet. All she wants in life is a blanket and belly rubs. The 12yo girl is in great spirits and loves everyone she meets. She has had some potty issues in the past, but we have gotten her on a schedule and she is doing much better. She gets anxious when there is no one around so another playmate, or someone who is home more often would be better. She has learned to use the dog door and this has helped a lot with potty issues.

Story
Location: Farmington, MN Hi, I'm Linden, but my foster family calls me Linden LD Johnson. The LD stands for "long dog because I am a huge pup stuck in a little long body. Speaking of foster, I haven't been here long but I am already on my best behavior. I know my name, will come immediately when called, and know how to go to my kennel. My foster mom is pretty sure I know other things like 'sit,' but I've been too excited to show her. I've figured out which toys are mine to chew on and I haven't even thought about chewing on something I shouldn't. My foster says I'm the best boy! I immediately got along with the resident pups and the super fun kids in this home! There's a cat around here too, but I get too excited when I see her. I bark and she usually runs off, but I think we could be best friends if we took the time. I just love everyone I've met so far-human and otherwise! My foster thinks I'm the best of all the dog worlds: I'm smaller, but I'm sturdy and have lots of big dog qualities; I want to be your favorite snuggle buddy, but I also love to run and play; I'm super food motivated, but I won't beg or be rude about it. I'm just pure love and I'm always smiling!! I think I could fit into any home-especially one with the small humans. As long as you love me and give me back scratches, I'm happy!! ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are a best guess.

Hey everybody, I'm Lacy and I'm ready to launch. I think I'm a Basset/JRT mix, maybe.  I'm a long low rider rescue delight. I became a singleton VERY early in my life so I really need to have a furry sibling or two to pack up with- I am a surviver!   I live with three foster pooches and a cat and am flourishing. My pack helps me feel safe and confident. I am comfortable with eating, taking a break and sleeping in a crate. I love cuddling with my buddies and peeps. Love car rides, shopping, kids, people. I am loving life. I'm getting pretty good at this "potty outside" thing as long as you're there to open the door. I am really ready to find my family and show them what a catch I am. If you have been thinking about adding a gem to your pack....I'm your gal. If you would like to meet Lacy, please visit spotslaststop.org and fallout an application.

When Irish eyes are smiling, does that mean they are happy? Or maybe they had too many pints at the pub? My eyes are smiling, and I am a non drinker, just want to have full disclosure here! Even though my eyes were smiling in these pictures. I was desperate for help for my little one, Lewis. You see, he was dying...full of internal and external parasites he really had no fight left in him and I knew it as his mother... so I used my Irish eyes to get us saved. AND IT WORKED!! Our lives are do amazing now, Lewis is alive and well after some very intense care, and ADOPTED INTO AN AMAZING HOME!!! I am not ever producing more babies, so it is all good! Now I get my turn for love, comfort and safety and a FOREVER HOME!! I am an adorable girl, about 50# of low-rider basset/heeler-ness. I am great with other dogs and like to play keep away! WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Blanche - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Named for the fun loving and outgoing Blanche Devereaux of the Golden Girls TV sitcom. She was never one to let an opportunity go by that she didn't take advantage of having a good time. I was named after her as I too am a happy happy girl that has the best time enjoying life! I was found with a litter of puppies that will now be ready to find homes of their own. I was a fabulous mom that took great care of my babies but I'm now so looking forward to some 'ME' time. Some one on one attention where I can get some lovins for me. Some nice relaxing walks, stopping to smell the flowers. Some adventures to see new things. Some car trips to the park. And of course some cuddle time with belly rubs and ear scratches. I am around a year and a half, so still very much a youngster ready for some outdoor activities that we can do together. Just like The Golden Girls, Blanche I'm always ready to go take advantage of the fun that the nightlife has to offer. Well shoot, I can find all that fun in the daylight hours too!!!! I come in at about the 40ish lb range and what a perfect mediumish size for...well, everything! Walks, hikes, camping...yep whatever you're thinking, I'm ready for doing!! I love love love people and also do fantastic with the other foster pups. I would do great having a sibling to chase around the yard stealing...err I meant to say sharing toys or getting all the attention as your one and only! Is there a piece missing in your life? Someone to always be by your side? Your cohort in crime? Oh my, that could be ME! Please fill out my adoption application and we can start having ALL this fun, ALL the time!!!

These pups are in Hopkins, Minnesota too!

Story
Hi! My name is Mary Anne, but my foster parents call me Annie for short. I am a beagle/collie mix, just shy of my first birthday, and my foster mom says I am a really, really good girl. Here are some things I have mastered, in my first 10 months of life: - Sit, Stay, and lay down - I know that dogs go potty outside, and that's where I go! - Crate time - my foster parents work a traditional M-F schedule, and as long as I get exercise before/after I am very comfortable in my crate. - I love going for walks in the city. I just went on my first outdoor hike near St Croix with my foster parents and it was magical! Even though I am from the south, I am not afraid of snow/cold one bit. - I love the dog park! If you're looking for a dog park buddy, I am your girl. I especially love little doggies, they are my favorite. - I love other doggies in the home, but I do best when we get to know each other slow and supervised. - I am a good eater, and am working on good boundaries with my foster parents and corgi foster brother. Here are some areas I need a little guidance, patience, and love and I am sure to grow! - I can sometimes be afraid of dogs or people approaching when I am on leash. I am working with my foster mom on this, building confidence using que words "look at me and "leave it. When I respond the way she likes, I get LOTS of hot dog pieces. - I LOVE my family. I love the people I bond with, and while this can be an endearing part of my personality, it can make it challenging for me to accept new people/pets in the home. I do best with slow introductions, firm/consistent direction, and my own space to settle when I am feeling overwhelmed. - I am most comfortable around people that are confident around dogs. This include the big and little people. I do well with kids that are confident, they help me feel more relaxed and less like I need to manage the situation. I would benefit from some additional training in this area, so I can be a cool, confident, and comfortable dog with my forever family. From the foster: I have fostered a few animals at this point, and I can say Annie completely has my heart. She is loyal, silly, loving, and incredibly smart. Annie will be someone's soul dog, I just know it . Annie settled into our home easily, but like all dogs Annie has some areas where she could use some help/training to be the incredible dog we already know she is. We are committed to finding the best possible fit for Annie, and know that she will make her future family happy and fulfilled. While a companion animal is certainly not necessary, I believe Annie would benefit from having another dog in the home to show her the ropes and be another companion for her. She loves our resident corgi, and generally shows better behavior when she is with him.

Story
I am Rocky. I am from Alabama. Hello I'm Rocky! My foster family likes to call me Rocket! I'm a 6 month old beagle mix breed I'm told! I have the softest coat you will ever pet, my ears feel like pure velvet, and my legs well I'm still growing into them. I'm working on learning how to sit as sometimes I get so excited I may jump up on you but I do have good listening ears, I already know what no, stop and leave it mean. I'm so curious, I love to learn, my foster mom loves how my head will tilt side to side as I'm learning and taking all new things in. I love toys the squeaker the better. Fetch I love this game although I haven't mastered bringing it back just yet, what I have mastered is my hilarious gallop I do when fetching, my foster mom asked me if I'm part mini horse. Potty training I am working hard at. With lots of patience and reminders I do good, but I do have a puppy brain & get easily distracted. I'm beginning to go to the door to show I need to go outside. Each day I get better and better. When I am tuckered out for the night and know it's bedtime for me, I look for my crate. I go into my crate fall right asleep and don't make a peep until I wake up in the am. My crate is my safe place, it's filled with the softest blankets I can snuggle my body into, with a blanket over the top on the outside. It's located in the living room where there is noise & people around. I love to go for walks and walk great on my leash. If you have a big yard I can run in even better, as I do have a lot of energy to burn off. I love dogs & kids of all ages, I am currently living with 2 resident dogs a dachshund & aussie & 5 kiddos. As I have been in my foster home I have learned just how comfy couches are to sprawl out on, dog beds I love them and soft blankets I need them in my life. When I'm tuckered out for the day I am a lap dog or at least think I am. I am one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet, with kisses for days, what do you say are you ready to adopt me?

Story
I am Minnie. I am from Arkansas. My foster mom says I'm a world class snuggler! I just want to be close to my people at all times...foster mom says occasionally even too close, but she's working on that. I will happily share the couch or the bed with you or even just sit nicely on the floor while you give me some pets! While pets are my absolute favorite thing, I also love doing zoomies in the back yard or some light wrassling with my foster brother. I wasn't sure about him the first night (he's bigger than me), but I quickly realized he was fun! I also love toys, particularly crinkly ones! My foster mom says I can be a little tough on them...she's cleaned up stuffing from a couple less sturdy ones. I do limit my playing & chewing to toys...I haven't chewed on anything I shouldn't, so my foster mom hasn't had to put me in a crate, whatever that is, when she leaves. And she does leave me sometimes, which I am OK with because she gives me a little treat each time. But I am so excited when she comes home...wouldn't you like to be greeted enthusiastically any time you come home? I am a most excellent greeting committee! Foster mom says to tell you I do know to do my business outside and she says I'm OK on a leash, but I do like to follow my nose when I'm outside. Or even inside...I'm too short to reach anything (dang), but I do like to put my paws up & check out what's on the counter. People food is so tempting! I am mostly pretty quiet in the house, but I've got a bit of impressive bark if I see or hear something interesting when I'm outside OR if strange people come to the door. Gotta give my foster mom a warning! So if you are looking for a snuggle buddy, I'd love it if you'd come meet me & give me lots of pets!
