Licorice is much more interested in exploring one very important place... your lap. This adorable 3-month-old Basset Hound/Lab mix weighs approximately 16 lbs and has the cutest combination of a long body, short little Basset legs, and soulful puppy eyes that are impossible to resist. Seriously... he's almost too cute. Licorice is a sweet, gentle boy who simply loves being with his people. If he had his way, he'd spend his day following you from room to room, soaking up belly rubs, curling up beside you on the couch, and reminding you that everything is better with a puppy cuddle. While he'll happily play with his toys, chew on a good bone, and romp around with his dog friends, he's a little more thoughtful and cautious as he takes in the world around him. Once he knows he's safe, his loving personality shines through. Licorice is: Great with dogs of all sizes Wonderful with people of all ages, including kids Cat introduced with little reaction (though he may decide a kitty could make a fun playmate—he is still a puppy!) Doing great with his house and crate training on a consistent schedule Up to date on vaccines and preventatives Microchipped Will need to be neutered before 7 months of age He may let out a few little puppy protests when it's time for his crate or puppy pen, but it's only because he'd much rather be snuggled up next to his favorite humans.
