Story
Dixie is such a sweetheart, a laid-back beagle. She was one of 4 beagles that were surrendered to us, and all of her siblings have found their forever homes. She adores going for walks and just chilling with people. Just a typical beagle, and she loves other dogs. If you are looking for a loyal friend, this is your girl!

Story
She is full of love and craves attention(all the time), but she is also an escape artist and my mom is too old and I'm too fat to catch her. She is 2 years old and needs a yard with a fence and multiple walks a day to shed energy. A physically active owner is ideal. Has had training but requires more especially when it comes to coming when called. She has a high prey drive and should not be with small dogs and cats. Not aggressive with children but she does get excited and is very strong and may knock them over or scratch them on accident. She does not like being left behind. She's fine if you go to the store, but if you are a few feet outside the house where she can't follow and she sees you, she will cry and bark until you go back to her. She has a very loud bark both low and high pitched. She loves to play and always carries a toy with her just to have. When we return from somewhere we always see her run into the house and come back with a toy to give us. Please consider adopting.

Story
NAME: Chickie BREED: Beagle Mix BIRTHDAY: 2012 WEIGHT: 35lbs ADOPTION FEE: $200   Chickie came to us when her owners (thankfully) surrendered her to a VA shelter. They had been keeping her in a pen outside 24 hours a day, despite their claims that she has grass allergies. What really seemed to be happening to poor Chickie was a bad flea infestation, untreated, that left her with half of her hair missing. After months of treatment and medications, her skin is healthy but it appears her hair will never grow back. We give her Apoquel for itching but she is otherwise in good overall health.  &#226&#128&#139 Chickie has put her years of neglect behind her: she is happy in foster care and is a pretty easy girl. Although she is friendly and has never snapped or even growled at anyone, she is still a little head shy and would do best in a home without small children. She does very well with dogs of all sizes, but should be placed in a home without cats. What she really wants is a place where she can get a nice mix of her own space (with her favorite toy football to play with), and attention in the form of walks and snacks. Chickie is crate trained but will need a reminder course on house training. She would love a fenced yard to stretch her legs, sunbathe, and spend time with her forever family.May 13, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Salali is sweet, sweet, sweet and chew toys are her absolute favorite! These pups won't get very big. Mom is about 20 pounds and perhaps a Beagle/Chihuahua/Boston Terrier mix. These pups have been with the same foster since they were VERY young and are well on their way to being house trained already. They know some basic commands, have learned how to take medicine and get their toenails clipped, and are extremely well socialized. They are living with other dogs and have been exposed to people of all ages. Don't miss out on this lovely litter of sweeties!
