Story
Dixie is such a sweetheart, a laid-back beagle. She was one of 4 beagles that were surrendered to us, and all of her siblings have found their forever homes. She adores going for walks and just chilling with people. Just a typical beagle, and she loves other dogs. If you are looking for a loyal friend, this is your girl!

Story
NAME: Chickie BREED: Beagle Mix BIRTHDAY: 2012 WEIGHT: 35lbs ADOPTION FEE: $200   Chickie came to us when her owners (thankfully) surrendered her to a VA shelter. They had been keeping her in a pen outside 24 hours a day, despite their claims that she has grass allergies. What really seemed to be happening to poor Chickie was a bad flea infestation, untreated, that left her with half of her hair missing. After months of treatment and medications, her skin is healthy but it appears her hair will never grow back. We give her Apoquel for itching but she is otherwise in good overall health.  &#226&#128&#139 Chickie has put her years of neglect behind her: she is happy in foster care and is a pretty easy girl. Although she is friendly and has never snapped or even growled at anyone, she is still a little head shy and would do best in a home without small children. She does very well with dogs of all sizes, but should be placed in a home without cats. What she really wants is a place where she can get a nice mix of her own space (with her favorite toy football to play with), and attention in the form of walks and snacks. Chickie is crate trained but will need a reminder course on house training. She would love a fenced yard to stretch her legs, sunbathe, and spend time with her forever family.July 20, 2024, 12:14 am

Story
Woof! My name is Sally. I'm the cuddliest beagle girl you'll ever meet. I love to be held and snuggled all day long, and my two favorites spots to sleep are 1) your lap and 2) your bed! Despite spending my life in a laboratory, I have endless amounts of love to give. My dream is to find a forever family, too! My foster mom describes me as intelligent, playful, and deeply connected to humans. All I want is to be warm, safe, and curled up by your side. If you are interested in adopting Sally, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/rescue/ and email us with questions: adopt@bfp.org. Location: Quilcene, WA
