Cooper is the sweetest boy with the charms beagles are known for -- fun, loving, and affectionate with a great love for walks with lots of sniffing, play, and outdoor adventure. Cooper loves trails and camping -- and treats! He's polite with free roam of his home and knows sit, down, stay, come, and heel, and responds to cues such as leave it, touch, back, and jump. Cooper enjoys learning new tricks and training and does very well with rewards and clear goals. Beagles are pack animals, and you're his pack, so he sleeps on his dog bed in your room or on your bed. We believe Cooper will be happiest and thrive either as your only pup or with a doggie brother or sister, with older kids, in a home without shared walls, since sometimes he likes to sing beautiful beagle songs (and no cats or small mammals). Story
We are the Denim Dogs: A timeless, tail-wagging collection. Enzo, Jordache, Old Navy, Lee, Gap, Levi and Wrangler. We all came from the same home where there were over 40 dogs! We are stitched together with charm, personality and that classic, all-American appeal. Just like your favorite jeans, we are reliable, flattering and always in style. Each of us brings our own fit and flair, but we all have a some of that beagle curiosity and a desire to be a part of a family. We are ready find our forever homes where we can stretch out, settle in and become someone's favorite. If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2675346##

  Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure Pops finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours  (please check your spam folder for our emails) .   Meet Pops | 7-year-old Beagle, 50# | Playful, Cuddly, and Curious Meet Pops, a lovable 7-year-old Beagle who perfectly balances playtime and relaxation. Pops is house-trained (though, like any dog, occasional accidents may happen as he adjusts to a new home), sleeps soundly through the night in his crate, and is a total gentleman when left home alone. He’s happiest with a few daily walks and loves playing tug-of-war or games where he has to search for treats. For downtime, he enjoys cuddling on the couch or lounging in a recliner chair. True to his Beagle nature, Pops loves to follow his nose and can get excited when he spots rabbits, squirrels, or other dogs during walks. He’s been working with a trainer and continues to make progress with his leash manners. He does best with smaller dogs and can be reactive toward dogs his size or larger, so a home without other big dogs would be ideal. Pops adores human companionship—he’ll happily curl up beside you on the couch or rest his head on your lap. Motivated by both food and affection, he thrives with a little structure and consistency. Pops would be happiest in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely sniff, explore, and satisfy his curious Beagle instincts. The ideal home for Pops will be active and structured, with someone who enjoys outdoor adventures as much as he does, no cats, and children aged 10 and up. With his affectionate nature, playful spirit, and love of snuggles, Pops is ready to be both your adventure buddy and your cozy companion at the end of the day.   If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.  Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking  here . Hi, I’m Baylor, and I was welcomed into this world on 12/17/25! I am a happy-go-lucky puppy, curious, and love to be on your lap. I'm not fussy in a crate throughout the night, but would prefer to snuggle up against you.   I enjoy sunbathing and looking out the door or window, and love going on walks. I am on the quiet side- no barking yet! As for cats, my demeanor is curious but calm, and I just do my own thing when cats are around. On walks, when I see a dog, I just stop and stare. My mix is possibly pinscher, terrier, and beagle, and I’m a male currently weighing in at 12.5 lbs, but my paws look like I’ll be a medium dog. I am working on potty training and love to go inside, outside, inside, outside, inside! BUT I am a puppy!!!  Can’t wait to meet my furever home!  Put in an application at eapl.com.
