Raymond came to us as a foster pup through Paws Co. After failing 3 potential adoptive homes, Raymond was on his way back to the shelter when we decided to intervene. Unfortunately, Raymond was placed into adoptive homes which didn’t allow him to thrive. We believe Raymond would do best in a calm home, with humans who are home most of the time, no children or only older children and either as an only dog or with a very mellow dog companion. Raymond has been working 1 on 1 with a dog trainer and his trainer is very impressed with his smarts and quick learning style. Raymond is fully house trained, knows lots of tricks including sit, stay, shake and high five and uses the dog door with ease. He also loves to sleep under the covers at the foot of the bed and will come ask permission each night to be let in ❤️ Raymond has just started playing with toys, getting the Zoomies and playing with our pup Banjo so we are really excited that he’s learning to trust in a loving routine.

Ranger is a guy’s guy. He really loves the fellas, and wants to be your best bud in the tree house with No GiRls AlLoWeD on the sign. If you have another pup around the house, even better. Ranger is smart, a little shy, and needs a friend who can manage his energy. He is still a puppy, and eager to learn with someone who is willing to take the time to teach him about being a good boy. What would make Ranger happiest? A friend who will take him hiking and camping, and give him quiet evenings on the porch sipping tea and watching the sun dip below the mountains. He’d like some toys and a bed of his own. He wants someone to give him some lessons to use his smart noodle brain – we recommend puzzle toys! For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need.The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home.
