This friendly boy is all about people and would make a wonderful companion for anyone looking to add a fun, affectionate fur friend to their life. Bullet thrives as the center of attention, so he is looking for a home without other pets. With his energetic spirit, he would be happiest in a home with a secure, fenced in yard where he can run, play, and explore to his hearts content. He is always up for an adventure whether it is a car ride, a hike, or any outdoor activity, Bullet is your guy! He is working on his leash manners he can be a bit of a puller, but he is crate-trained although he tends to turn bedding into confetti and he is doing wonderfully with house training, even letting you know it is time to go out by barking at the door. Bullet does best in a calm, patient environment. He can become reactive if yelled at, so a gentle, understanding adopter will help him feel safe and secure. If you are searching for a loyal, energetic, and fun loving partner to share your adventures, Bullet may be the perfect match! For adoption information, please call the shelter to confirm his availability. Once ready, stop by for a meet-and-greet! Hours: Tuesday–Friday: 10:30–6 Saturday: 10:30–4 (Closed 1–2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month.)

Penny LOVES other dogs and thrives in their company. She enjoys playing, cuddling, and learning from her canine companions. She would do wonderful in a home with another friendly dog, but she also does well being the center of attention.

When she first arrived she was shy and unsure, but with time, patience, and gentle reassurance, Darla has truly blossomed and her sweet personality now shines through. She still may take a little time to warm up and has shown preference for women over men at first, but once you've earned her trust she'll be your best bud. She now adores her foster dad and even gives him little hand licks to express her love! Darla is great with kids and loves other dogs. In fact, having canine friends around seems to help her feel more confident so a home with another dog would be welcomed. Darla  needs to be in a home with a fenced-in yard where she can safely explore and sniff to her heart's content. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Emmett is a scholar and a gentleman. When he came to his foster home he was a bit hesitant around new people, but quickly settled in for a good scratch when allowed to advance on his own terms. He is a very affectionate and happy boy. He loves to go outside and explore his environment. When it is time for him to come in he will quickly respond to his name and come prancing up with his head held high and a smile on his face. Emmett does really well on a leash but he does like to lead the way. He loves his crate and and is content to go in it for a short afternoon nap or a long evening sleep. He gets along great with his foster’s older dogs, being sure to give them their space when they are not in the mood to play. As a gentleman he rarely barks as he does not want to disturb his household. Emmett is doing a great job with his house training, getting an A+ from his foster mom on his progress. He is heartworm positive and currently going through treatment.
