Meet Amaretto. She is a classically beautiful beagle that is very calm, gentle and enjoys a nice cuddle.Amaretto weighs 25 pounds and is thought to be about 5 or so. She barely makes a peep, likes to sit under the table at your feet and of course sniff around the yard. She gets along fine with other dogs and enjoys a good toy from time to time. She sleeps through the night in her crate and is house trained. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter. Bangles is a beautiful Lemon Beagle. He is very good with new people and does well with other dogs. He enjoys a good trot around the yard but at approx 6 years old and 31 pounds, he also enjoys lounging in the sun. Bangles has been introduced to cats and while he has shown interest, he has not shown any aggression. Bangles will actually go in his open crate for a snooze durning the day, especially if there is a cozy blanket tucked inside, and although he does not really play with toys, he enjoys having one in his crate with him; which is super sweet. Bangles is a perfect companion dog, as he will stay close by you, not demanding, nor vocal, but a true buddy. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. Hi I'm Merlin! I'm a little shy but once you get to know me I'm as sweet as can be. I'm around 6 years old and 45 lbs, and I would do best with a simple, routine life without too much excitement. In fact, I could spend almost all day on the couch with my head on your shoulder. I am vision impaired but once you help me learn where everything is, I do just fine navigating on my own- I'm even crate trained and enjoy having a crate as my "home base". I am perfect with cats and dogs, and would really love a dog friend to help me continue building my confidence. I do need a fenced in yard at my forever home, being on leash is tough for me until I feel super safe and secure. If you're a homebody with a little bit of patience and a gentle soul, I would be the perfect companion for you and I am sure to give you all the love you'll ever need. Between July 5th and July 26th, part of my adoption fee is sponsored! Thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters campaign, my new family can take me home for $70! Danica is an 8-year-old, 30 lb beagle mix with big brown eyes who just loves kisses, scratches and cuddles and being close to her people. Her superpowers include being a fast and eager learner, loving all people everywhere, and getting along great with other dogs and her cat sister. She loves to just explore the outdoors and sniff around still. She’s good on a leash. In terms of house training, she’s does well during the day but sometimes can’t make it through the night. With more regularly scheduled potty breaks, we think this can be fixed! She loves to love on you and her people and to be rewarded for a good job! Some of her favorite things are her Kongs (stuffed with peanut butter, of course). If you're looking for a loving companion who will greet you and other of your four legged companions with full body kisses every time you walk in the door and loves spooning and snuggling at night and at naptime, she might be your perfect match.
