Story
January 2024: Estee is a sweet loving dog who loves to be petted. Because of her background she needs a quiet home with secure fencing. She would make a excellent pet for older person or couple. She is now around 4 years old and 20 lbs. Soft ears and soft eyes! She still has some accidents in her crate if left over 6 hours. She will use pads and goes outside easily. She prefers a few zoomies in the yard and then a nice dog bed. Does great with the other dogs, cats unknown. Not a mean bone in her body. February 2023: She is doing great, will make a fine family member for a quiet home with a physical fenced in yard. She is still a flight risk so no small children with the house doors. She must have a secure fence. May 2022: Estee was pulled from Bracken County. She was found as a stray and was likely an unsocialized puppy living away from people. For the first two months she was terrified to come in from outside (carried for 2 months) and a month after that to go out on her own. She is still a little leery of doorways. Estee is 2 years old and 20 lbs. She is the sweetest pup, who is doing great going outside for potty. she does us her crate and will, potty in it sometimes. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs. Application: https://form.jotform.com/FredsMission/app

Story
Meet Waffles! Waffles is a 4-year-old 20lb Beagle. Her superpower is her friendliness. She loves people and would be delighted if you would come meet her and give her some pets. Her tail is always wagging. She has a healthy hound appetite for treats so could be motivated by those. Waffles absolutely loves walks. A perfect day for her would include at least one but preferably two of those. She can walk long distances but a stroll around the block would do just fine as well. She is working on her leash manners. As a typical hound, she tends to follow her nose. Keeping her on a leash or in harness is a must as a squirrel could distract her quite a bit. When it comes to housetraining, Waffles is doing very well. She has had a few accidents in her foster home, but a consistent schedule will lead her to success. Her crate training has been very successful. She settles very quickly and snoozes the whole time her foster family is gone. She may give a little hello howl when you return due to excitement to see you. Waffles enjoys being around kids but is still learning to keep all four paws on the floor. She gets along great with other dogs and would do well in a home with another one to play with. All toys are her favorite. If you're looking for a playful, lovable goofball, then come meet Waffles. Waffles is currently being fostered in Cincinnati, OH. Her adoption fee is $400.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Hi! I'm Moody Blue! Did someone say car ride?!?!      This goofy little girl is looking for her happily ever after.  She is about 2 years old, 45lbs and a unique mix of beagle/pit. This sweet and quirky pup is guaranteed to bring joy and laughter into your life. Moody Blue is always ready for an adventure as long as she is with her people. She loves long walks, (bonus points if she can flip over on the grass and stratch her back.) and is always ready for a car ride. Moody Blue is a BIG advocate of cuddling any time of day and her foster mom thinks she may have won an award for cuddling in the past.  Moody Blue knows a few basic commands, and is potty trained and crate trained. She loves kids, and is good with dogs. She is interested in cats but does live with one in her foster home. She is also crate and potty trained. She is a sweet fun loving girl who deserves to find her forever home! Adoption fee is $200. She is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   May 27, 2024, 10:11 pm

Meet Kabella. She is a senior lady that is ready for her new forever home. She is good with other dogs and does not care about cats. She is spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200 All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.
