Tiny is a four year-old beagle who is about 27 pounds and ready for a forever home! She is a sweet girl that loves to cuddle and sleep in bed under the covers! She is good with other dogs as well as cats, her foster home has not needed to put her in a crate and has had no issues with her! She is housebroken and very quiet for a beagle!   Tiny is being fostered in the Columbus area and her adoption fee is $300. She will need a home with a fenced in yard. If you’re interested please fill out the application on our website ohiobassetrescue.com   Adoption Process: To meet one our dogs you must first fill out our application on our website ohiobassetrescue.com. Once submitted one of our volunteers will reach out to you. Upon approval you will be given an approval code to email us at ohbassetrescue@yahoo.com. Approvals are good for 6 months for any current or future dogs. After 6 months you will be directed to fill out an updated application. Please note we only process applications where the adopter lives in OH, IN, KY, PA, WV, lower MI. Adopters must be willing to travel to meet the dog they are adopting. Dogs locations are listed on their profile description on our website. Dogs are NOT all located in Brookville, that is our mailing address. We got Gracie from a local pet store when she was just 12 weeks old. She has been a wonderful, sweet girl. She is now 11 years old and requires more attention that our schedules can handle. She loves to go on walk, an unfortunately, we don’t have a fenced in yard to let her run freely.

Bandit Leo is one of the seeetest most cuddly dogs you’ll ever meet. All he wants is attention and love. He loves to sleep in bed with you, and loves car rides and pup cups. We got him when he was 1 weeks old, he’s in now turning 2 Nov 8th. When we got him, only one of us was working but due to unforeseen circumstances we are both working now. We both work long hours, and he is not getting the attention and time outside he deserves and needs. We will give all his food, toys, kennel, anything we have for him as well.

We took this dog in as a stray. He is one year old, and has lots of puppy energy. He is a great cuddler, loves to play, and is patient with small children. Story
Bangles is a beautiful Lemon Beagle. He is very good with new people and does well with other dogs. He enjoys a good trot around the yard but at approx 6 years old and 31 pounds, he also enjoys lounging in the sun. Bangles has been introduced to cats and while he has shown interest, he has not shown any aggression. Bangles will actually go in his open crate for a snooze durning the day, especially if there is a cozy blanket tucked inside, and although he does not really play with toys, he enjoys having one in his crate with him; which is super sweet.  Bangles is a perfect companion dog, as he will stay close by you, not demanding, nor vocal, but a true buddy.  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   August 22, 2026, 6:48 pm
