Story
Hi! I'm Moody Blue! Did someone say car ride?!?!      This goofy little girl is looking for her happily ever after.  She is about 2 years old, 45lbs and a unique mix of beagle/pit. This sweet and quirky pup is guaranteed to bring joy and laughter into your life. Moody Blue is always ready for an adventure as long as she is with her people. She loves long walks, (bonus points if she can flip over on the grass and stratch her back.) and is always ready for a car ride. Moody Blue is a BIG advocate of cuddling any time of day and her foster mom thinks she may have won an award for cuddling in the past.  Moody Blue knows a few basic commands, and is potty trained and crate trained. She loves kids, and is good with dogs. She is interested in cats but does live with one in her foster home. She is also crate and potty trained. She is a sweet fun loving girl who deserves to find her forever home! Adoption fee is $200. She is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   March 27, 2024, 12:42 pm

Story
Meet Archie the one year old Beagle mix. This guy is sweet and ready for a home. He doesn't do well with younger children, so we would recommend him to go home with older teens or no kids at all. We are not sure at this time how he is with other animals so we would recommend brining your current dogs in to meet. So come on down and meet Archie today!

Story
Marky Mark is an approximately 9 year old beagle mix who, yes, is the lead singer of Marky Mark and the Barky Bunch! Not to be confused with Mark Walberg from the Funky Bunch. If you do adopt Marky Mark you will have full access and backstage passes to every concert that they bark at. This will include bus access while touring which is filled with all the good vibrations. (For legal purposes, Barky Bunch's band member Hector "The Booty Inspector" only sniffs other dogs, humans will not be affected.) When he is not on tour, Marky Mark loves to stay at home laiiiiiid back (with his mind on his money and his money on his mind, of course). He loves his orthopedic doggie bed. He is house and crate trained. He is claustrophobic and does not like cars or tight spaces, so you must be willing to share all aspects of your bed with this pop star. He would be best with a house that is calm, such as no children; his nerves are shot from all that touring. Marky Mark is so worn out from being on tour, he just wants someone to relax and watch tv with, although an occasional stroll around the neighborhood to check out his groupies is appreciated. The cutest thing about him is his front paws are pointed outward due to a genetic deformity, but it doesn't stop him from shaking his thang! If you are interested, please apply at pawpatroldayton.com. He comes fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. To celebrate the dog days of summer, we are having an adoption special on our adult bully/bully mixes which we suspect Marky Mark may have a bit of bully in him. Therefore his adoption fee will be $85. His adoption fee will return to 175 dollars on August 16th. PS if you work for Calvin Klein, please stop calling us. Marky Mark only wears SilverPAW, thank you. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
This little man is a big cuddler. He loves to play outside and chase everything. He is the sweetest thing and but can get a little aggressive when playing with other dogs. He is a 3 year old beagle, we got him when he was 8 weeks old. He will need an experienced adopter, someone who can work with him as he has anxiety. Even though we have a fenced in yard we still have him on a lease as he likes to escape our yard. He is pretty much potty trained but when he lets you know that he needs to go it needs to be at that time or he will have an accident. With having a kid this past year we just cannot give him the attention and training that he needs. We want him to go to a loving home who will be able to train him the way he deserves.

Story
Feb 24: Leroy is doing great. He is now 2 years old and 15 lbs. He is crate trained and sleeps in crate at night (still not house trained at night). Leroy is a resource guarder with dogs. He gets protective of his toys when he has them in his mouth and gets fed away from the eyes of the other dogs. He does NOT resource guard with humans (small children not recommended till they are old enough to leave his stuff alone). If you remove the stuffies and high value bones, he does great with the dog group. He plays and follows his nose throughout the whole yard. If you have experience with resource guarding he will do fine with other pets. If you have no experience, then he should be an only dog. He loves to be petted and hang out in a dog bed. He does need secure fencing, his nose will get him in trouble. He also sings the song of his people...lol May 23: Leroy Jenkins (nod to video games!) was found as a stray and pulled from Animal Friends (Butler County Ohio). He was suffering from kennel cough and got double pneumonia and had to be hospitalized for 3 days. He is approximately 1 to 2 years old and 14 lbs. He is a small Beagle. He is on the timid side but learning to trust. He plays with the other dogs and loves toys. He has the typical beagle bray when he spots something. He is crate trained (not fond of it) and is not house trained. He does wear a belly band in the house when he is outside of his crate. He does need a SECURE PHYSICAL FENCED yard; the nose will lead him away from the yard. He is very food motivated (like many beagles are) and eats separately in his crate. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs. Application: https://form.jotform.com/FredsMission/app

Story
January 2024: Estee is a sweet loving dog who loves to be petted. Because of her background she needs a quiet home with secure fencing. She would make a excellent pet for older person or couple. She is now around 4 years old and 20 lbs. Soft ears and soft eyes! She still has some accidents in her crate if left over 6 hours. She will use pads and goes outside easily. She prefers a few zoomies in the yard and then a nice dog bed. Does great with the other dogs, cats unknown. Not a mean bone in her body. February 2023: She is doing great, will make a fine family member for a quiet home with a physical fenced in yard. She is still a flight risk so no small children with the house doors. She must have a secure fence. May 2022: Estee was pulled from Bracken County. She was found as a stray and was likely an unsocialized puppy living away from people. For the first two months she was terrified to come in from outside (carried for 2 months) and a month after that to go out on her own. She is still a little leery of doorways. Estee is 2 years old and 20 lbs. She is the sweetest pup, who is doing great going outside for potty. she does us her crate and will, potty in it sometimes. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped.
