Story
Meet Beau! Looking for a fun loving, high energy pup to keep you on your toes and fill your days with joy? That`s Beau, a 1 year old, 31 lb. bundle of Beagle-ish goodness who’s ready to bring some serious tail wags to your world!Beau was originally adopted by a lovely older couple, but his puppy energy proved to be a bit too much for their lifestyle. Now thriving in his local foster home, Beau is learning all his Good Boy basics, like house-training, crate training, and leash walking. He`s making great strides with each passing day!His absolute favorite pastime? Zooming around the fenced yard with his playful canine foster siblings. Beau has a zest for life and would do best in a home with at least one other active dog to match his energy and keep the games going strong. He could also live with respectful kids aged 10+, but he tends to be a bit too much for even the most dog-savvy felines. His foster says, `This handsome boy has kept us in stitches while he has been staying with us! He has definitely been a thief around here stealing hearts as well as remote controls and even a cellphone where even he managed to call emergency services one day! He will serenade you with “the song of his people” while he waits for his pup cup at your local coffee shop drive through! He is a super sweet copilot on car rides and will place his paw on your arm or snuggle in and rest his head on your shoulder. He ADORES other dogs and is learning more and more each day “how to dog” from his new foster fur friends! He does great in his crate, he loves walks at the park where he can put his beagle nose to good use sniffing all of the new scents he finds. He is working hard on his potty training and is very treat motivated! Beau has such a fun, happy and entertaining personality with just the right mix of sweetness! He’s still learning the ropes of how this life thing all works and can’t wait to find an active family who will continue to help him grow!`He is available for adoption in Hopkinton or Fitchburg, MA by appointment with an approved adopter. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption

Story
Duke is a friendly Beagle who was found stray in Louisiana. He's about 1-2 years old and weighs about 32 lbs. Duke stayed with a foster for a few weeks in Louisiana before making his journey north. She reports that Duke is friendly and loves attention. He has been observed around kids, cats and her small dog and did fine. He was not destructive in her home, is not food aggressive. He walks well on a leash and is working on housebreaking. Duke loves attention and petting and can have some separation anxiety. He might feel a better sense of security with another dog in the home if being left alone. He tolerates the crate but may bark briefly. Duke won the hearts of his Louisiana fosters, and they would have kept him but could not have a second dog. Duke will be arriving in Massachusetts in late March. Story
Tallulah is a six week old Beagle mix. She didn't have the greatest start to life when she was born. She and her littermates were all born in the middle of the woods. Her mother was homeless and is a beautiful full blooded Beagle. She did the best she could for her babies. Thankfully a worker from the assisted living facility near the woods saved her and her babies. Tallulah is full of personality. She is very outgoing, playful, curious, and comical. She loves playing with her siblings and all of her toys. She likes to snuggle and give lots of puppy kisses. Tallulah would make a wonderful addition to any new family.
