Our newest beagle rescue is a sweet little guy who was found stray in rural southwest Virginia. He's about 2 yrs old and weighs about 34 lbs. Jerry is a bit tentative in new situations (these are his shelter photos). He warms up easily with a little patience and TLC. His personality will blossom in a home environment, and he'd probably enjoy another Beagle playmate. Jerry will arrive in Massachusetts in August. I'm Waylon, a 7-year-old Beagle/Blue Tick hound seeking a new home. I'm a very laid back, chill boy! I love men and women equally and have lived with cats and dogs. I'm fine in playgroups and on walks. I slept in the bed with my human. I like to hang out on the sofa with you, love car rides and I jump in the car easily. I'm good in the car, calmly sit in the back seat. I love to go for a nice sniff walk. I do not like to be crated, please. I'm totally house-trained and an easy keeper. I'M ALSO GREAT WITH CATS! I went to the beach with my foster family and I did great. I went into the water a few times, wasn't afraid of the waves. Not a fan of rain, though. The fireworks didn't bother me.
