Jill and her brother, Jack, were found lying in the middle of a rural Indiana road, nursing from their mom, Jenna, when they were picked up by one of our rescue partners. They are sweet pups. They are very lovable calm 14 week old pups each in search of a forever family. They enjoy toys, walks, lots of affection, good food, treats, chew sticks, and peaceful puppy naps. They have been in a loving foster home and will be a special addition to any family. Available 10/19/26. These two have been enjoying life in their foster home, and their foster family can't say enough wonderful things about them. They're sweet, gentle, affectionate, and have so much love left to give! Flash is the more outgoing of the two, with a fun personality and a classic Beagle nose that's always ready to sniff out something interesting! He loves attention, enjoys being brushed, and isn't afraid to use his voice when he's excited or thinks it's time for a snack. Fawna is a little more reserved at first, but she's an incredibly sweet girl who warms up with patience, yummy treats, and a little encouragement. Having Flash by her side helps her feel confident and comfortable. These two have been wonderful houseguests! They've done great with the other dogs and cats in their foster home and have been friendly with dogs of all sizes. They enjoy going for walks, exploring the yard, and spending time with their people. They're even starting to show off their playful sides, enjoying toys and playing with each other! When the adventures are over, they're just as happy to relax and enjoy a cozy afternoon at home. Fawna and Flash have settled nicely into a routine, are doing well with their house training, and are great on leash. 🐾 Meet Petey — 34 Pounds of Beagle Charm, Howls & Heart! 🐾 Petey is a 7-year-old Beagle who recently found himself looking for a new home after his beloved owner passed away. He’s understandably a little unsure about all these changes, but underneath the anxiety is a very sweet boy who really just wants some love, attention, and a person of his own again. ❤️ Petey can be a little shy when he first meets you, but give him a little time and he’s happy to make friends. He’s friendly with people, seems to be good with kids, and gets along well with other dogs. Cats, however, are not his thing. His Beagle brain is highly interested in rabbits and squirrels—and apparently they are to be chased immediately. 🐇🐿️ He seems to enjoy trips in the car, so much so that he’s been known to try and sneak into the garage when his human is leaving in an attempt to hitch a ride. He has even demonstrated that a vinyl fence is not necessarily the impenetrable fortress his humans assumed it was. So his new family will need to keep a close eye on this adventurous fellow and make sure doors, gates, and fences are secure. Petey does have some anxiety, so he’ll need a little patience and time to adjust to his new surroundings. He would do best in a home where he wouldn't need to be crated. And because he is, in fact, a Beagle, Petey would like to remind you that silence is not his strongest skill. Marley is a sweet, energetic 8 year old hound mix. She would thrive in a home w adults/older children…active and enjoy playing and being outside. She likes walks and does well on a leash . But she has a strong prey drive … hold on tight to leash and check w her to make sure she’s on task w you. She’s a love bug that enjoys belly rubs and gentle neck massage. She greets people w a full body wag. She knows commands …sit, stay, down ….leave it . She is crate trained and house broken . She’s used to being by herself 6-8 hours. She likes other dogs in small groups. She has gone to day care from the age of 2. She is treat oriented…will sit and give paw. She has in the past taken a pillow apart…but she wasn’t properly exercised. A home with a fenced yard would be perfect for her. I recommend gating her in an area when you bring people into the house …she isn’t aggressive …a proper intro is recommended. She barks , but not continuos
