Story
Meet Sir Rico! 🐾 Sir Rico is a one-of-a-kind pup with a look you won’t forget—adorable, expressive ears and striking eyes (one blue, one brown!) that give him tons of personality. He may be short and stout at about 35 pounds, but that just makes him the perfect pocket-sized companion—easy to take along on adventures and even easier to love. He might be carrying a little “winter fluff,” so he’d happily join his new family on some fun spring walks to slim down. Sir Rico gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playful canine friends. He’s a smart boy who already knows “sit,” walks nicely on leash, and is very food motivated, which makes him a great candidate for learning even more. One of his favorite activities is picking toys out of the toy box and proudly showing them off before launching into playtime. Always entertaining and full of personality, Sir Rico loves spending time with his people and being part of the action. He may also do well with kids, pending a meet. If you’re looking for a fun, playful, and charming little sidekick, Sir Rico is ready to win you over. Start the process to meet him today! 🐶

Story
Brandy is a very special, incredibly sweet beagle mix from the south. She was found chained outside after her owner passed away. She had a deep laceration on her neck which has completely healed with no complications. Brandy is about 3 yrs old and 38 lbs. She is gentle, affectionate, very well-behaved, and enjoys the company of children. She is house and crate-trained, walks well on leash, and doesn't seem to mind cats. And, for the most part, she is quiet. Brandy does have a tendency to bark when she senses something to fear - a person coming to the house or an unfriendly dog approaching her on leash. But, she is easily redirected with a call of her name and a high valued treat. She just needs a little time to trust her surroundings. And, when she does, she is just the best and will ask you to rub her very soft belly! Brandy loves to spend time outside and would be best suited to suburban or rural living. Her forever home should have a secure fenced in yard. She loves walks and hikes. Brandy also loves to play with dogs, however she can be a little dominant when she is first getting acquainted. But, she quickly responds to direction. She would do best with a happy, confident dog in the home who can help to reassure her when she is hesitant. Brandy is a big fan of squeaky toys! She herself has some of the most amazing vocals - from beautiful howls and "I want to be with you" whimpers. Brandy is fostering south of Boston. Her foster family adores her and so does everyone she meets.

Rambo is an owner surrender from the south. He may have been a failed hunting dog. This friendly boy is about 2 years old and 23 lbs. He can be a bit timid and skittish, but is good with dogs and kids of all ages. Rambo's ideal home would be quiet and have a fenced in yard. This sweet little guy is vocal, medium energy, and crate-trained. Rambo is epileptic and will need to be on medication for the rest of his life. Medication will not completely resolve the seizures. The goal is to reduce the frequency and severity of them. Rambo is expected to arrive in MA by mid-March.

Story
Tyson is a sweet and friendly beagle mix from the south. He is a happy, energetic boy who is affectionate and loving. Tyson is very playful and has been taking direction from the other dogs in his foster home when he gets too playful for them. He entertains himself well as long as there are plenty of toys and bones to play with. He plays hard and naps hard. Tyson is quiet inside but lets his beagle voice be heard when he wants to play or is on a scent. He is currently living with cats with no issues. His ideal home would be with an active family who will give him plenty of enrichment and opportunities for exercise. Tyson is being fostered south of Boston.
