Story
Minnow is a small beagle/bully type mix (about 30 pounds) who was picked up as a neglected little stray. She was fearful and urine stained but is really starting to come around quickly. You can tell that she isn`t used to kindness but she wants nothing more than to be as close to people as possible. She`s been in a couple of play groups where she`s trying really hard to be brave. She`s easily overwhelmed but with gentle, patient dogs she has begun to play. Big rowdy players cause her to shut down so a gentle friend in her new home would be ideal!

Story
RUDY 2 years Attributes Dog friendly Housetrained Good on car rides Playful Snuggly High energy Meet Rudy! Rudy is an approximately two-year-old Beagle who has never met a stranger! After being found as a stray, he's now looking for a forever family that will give him the love, attention, and active lifestyle he deserves. With his happy personality, adorable Beagle charm, and endless affection, it's no surprise that everyone who meets him falls in love. Rudy is house-trained and has diligent manners inside the home. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, and off, and because he's highly food motivated (he is a Beagle, after all!), he's eager to learn and responds well to positive reinforcement. Like any young dog, he occasionally gets curious about something he shouldn't have, but a little redirection to one of his toys is all it takes, and he's right back on track. He's full of puppy energy and loves to play! Rudy enjoys carrying his toys around, entertaining himself, and playing games with his people. He'll even play a game of fetch from time to time. He's generally a quiet dog, but when he's having fun with his toys, don't be surprised to hear a few adorable Beagle sounds as he talks to himself. Rudy loves other dogs and has a blast at doggy daycare. He enjoys playing with his canine friends and matches their energy well. While he can be a little dominant at times, he's never overly rough. His biggest challenge is that he loves people so much that if someone is giving another dog attention, Rudy is convinced it's his turn too! He'll happily squeeze in for pets and belly rubs, which happen to be his absolute favorite. Because of his age and energy level, Rudy would do best with a family that can provide plenty of exercise, playtime, and opportunities to burn off that youthful energy. Since Beagles are famous for their love of food, staying active will help him maintain a healthy weight. He'll also benefit from a family willing to continue reinforcing his manners, especially when it comes to patiently sharing attention. Rudy isn't a fan of the crate, but he does well left loose in the house for short periods. He rides wonderfully in the car and is usually asleep within minutes—especially if he can curl up on someone's lap while enjoying a few belly rubs. At bedtime, he's perfectly happy sleeping in his own dog bed or snuggled up with his humans. Rudy is simply a sweet, affectionate, fun-loving young Beagle with so much love to give. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will make you laugh, keep you active, and always be ready for a cuddle at the end of the day, Rudy may just be the perfect addition to your family. Maple Tree’s Puppies 3 girls and 3 boys DOB 07/02/26 Icons Working on housetraining High energy ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS! Hi there! We are the newest members of the Midwest BREW family! Our names are Ash, Birch and Joshua (males) and the girls are Olive, Laurel (adoption pending), and Aspen. We are super cute beagle mix puppies and we are full of energy! Midwest BREW just had a DNA test done and we know what we are! Ready? Here it goes: 54.1% Beagle 20.6% Shetland Sheepdog 17.2% Supermutt 8.1% Dachshund Our foster mom has been taking good care of us and we are loving being loved on and cared for. They say we will soon be ready to find our own furever homes. Will it be with you? If you want a warm, soft, cuddly and full of energy bundle of joy in your life, fill out an adoption application or contact your Midwest BREW adoption counselor right away! NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI). ---------------------------- Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full-time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.

MOOSE 1 – 2 years GYPSY 1 – 2 years Attributes: Bonded pair Dog friendly Shy Medium energy Housetrained Snuggly Requires fence Playful Meet Gypsy & Moose, a sweet, inseparable duo who have grown up side-by-side and are ready to find a loving home together. At just 1.5 years old, Gypsy (19 lbs) and Moose (22 lbs) are young, playful, and full of heart. Their previous family adored them deeply, but due to hard times, they were lovingly surrendered to Midwest BREW so they could have the future they deserve. Gypsy is the more outgoing of the pair—curious, affectionate, and quick to offer trust once she feels safe. Moose is a gentle soul with longer hair and a beagle-plus-cocker look. He’s more reserved at first, but once he warms up, he becomes a devoted snuggler who melts into your lap. Both pups were not well socialized early in life, so they’re shy when meeting new people. They do get nervous in new situations. They’ll need a couple of weeks to settle in. Gypsy and Moose are fun, lively dogs who enjoy toys, chasing a ball, and wrestling with each other. Watching them play is guaranteed to bring joy and laughter to their home. They will need a secured fenced yard as they LOVE doing zoomies together 3–4 times a day. It’s their favorite shared ritual. They are fully house trained and know how to use a dog door. They enjoy daily walks and are improving on leash manners. They sleep in bed with their foster parents and adore bedtime snuggles. This pair will thrive with adopters who can offer patience, consistency, and a secure environment. Once they feel safe, Gypsy and Moose become affectionate, playful companions who bring double the love and double the fun. NOTE: Dogs may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website..Meet Little Jack . Little Jack is an adorable 5-year-old Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier mix who is looking for a loving home. He is wonderful with men, women, and children and is friendly with everyone he meets. With proper introductions, he does well with other dogs, too. Little Jack is a true cuddle-bug who loves being with his person and would happily spend his days as a lap dog. He has had surgery to repair a luxating patella in his knee and has made a full recovery. He is doing great now with no issues from his knee. Little Jack does have some separation anxiety, when left alone, he may pace and bark. He can be a little vocal at times, especially when he’s excited, but his sweet personality makes up for it. His ideal adopters should be home more often than not. A securely fenced yard is required for Little Jack. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate little companion who wants to be by your side, Little Jack may be your guy! ❤️   Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The microchip is transferred to the adopter once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a one-time $15 microchip enrollment fee.  Microchips are enrolled with AKC Reunite.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Murray is a Beagle mix estimated to be about 10 years old.  He is a very gentle, low-maintenance, easy dog and, despite his age, has a spring in his step and can run surprisingly fast.  He displays those lovable [but occasionally annoying] Beagle behaviors such as magically appearing when there is food to be had, letting his nose direct his steps...usually in haste to a tantalizing smell, lavishing his affection on humans and sleeping the night away with visions of squirrels dancing in his head!  Murray enjoys walks and does great on leash. After his walk, he patiently waits for you to wipe his feet off so he doesn’t track debris into the house.  He loves rolling in the grass and soaking up the sunshine.  Murray is house-trained and a gentleman in the home. He is very quiet.  He does exhibit some mild separation anxiety when left alone but is not destructive.  When you return, whether it’s been 2 minutes or 3 hours, Murray greets you like you are a rock star! He forms a strong bond with his family and is very loyal. Murray requires only gentle correction or redirection.  His whole life is focused on pleasing his humans!  He also loves other canine companions and would love to have a canine friend. Though 10-ish, Murray still has several good years ahead of him.  He is healthy, has no known medical issues, is UTD on vaccines, neutered and microchipped.  He came into care with rotted teeth and open nasal fistulas and had extensive dental surgery to remove all his remaining rotted teeth and suture the fistulas.  Murray has recovered well from his surgery. Because all his teeth were removed his tongue hangs out all the time. But that only makes him all the cuter!  He has a healthy appetite and eats soft food with dry kibble softened with warm water.   Murray just wants a family to love….could it be yours?     Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption.
