Waffles is a happy, medium-to-high energy girl who’s always ready for her next adventure (especially if snacks are involved). She’s very food-motivated, which makes her a fun and rewarding candidate for training — though fair warning: when her nose catches a scent, she may temporarily forget she has ears. Classic Beagle behavior! She loves staying active, going on walks, and exploring the world one sniff at a time. Waffles would thrive in a home that enjoys keeping her both physically and mentally engaged — think long walks, enrichment toys, and maybe a securely fenced yard for safe sniffing sessions. Waffles is looking for a family who appreciates her curious spirit, can laugh at her nose-led mischief, and will give her the structure and love she deserves. She is crate and house trained but does need consistency to maintain that level of training. In return, she promises endless tail wags, loyal companionship, and a whole lot of Beagle charm. Meet Princess! Princess is a 1-year-old, 30-lb female beagle mix that can be a bit skittish when approached by new people but she just needs a little time and a gentle touch to trust. Once she’s comfortable, she loves belly rubs and cuddling with you. Princess is very calm and gentle around other pets. She’s a very fast learner and she loves her squeaky toys! She also loves to run around in the yard, especially in the snow (and she looks like a funny skater on the ice). She is learning how to use pee-pads and is very good on the leash. When she goes for walks, she is a little scared of her surroundings, but is learning to build confidence which makes for an enjoyable walk for all. I am super sadly looking to rehome my very sweet dog of 10+ years. I am a single mom and have two small boys (ages 1 and 3) in a small space and it’s becoming impossible to care for her the way she deserves. She is a Beagle/Jack Russell / Feist . She still has a lot of spunk and bursts of energy even though she is an older dog. She loves playing catch , hiking , beach walks and snuggling on the couch . She is excellent on a leash, extremely loyal to her owner, and as long as she gets 2 -3 walks she is basically a couch potato the rest of the day. She’s patient with kids for the most part but would do much better in a child free home because when she is resting or eating , she does not want to be bothered and I feel like that will only get worse as she gets older .
