Story

Ren was adopted in April 2023 from a rescue in KY. He is approx 3 years old, born in Oct-ish of 2021. From what we know about him, he was basically living in a barn and was picked on by other male dogs, so he is not very welcoming to them so far. He has gotten along well with female dogs, but isn't too socialized yet. We have a cat and two children, he gets along well with all three. He is very friendly with all people. He has occasional indoor potty accidents. He's curious and energetic. Squeaky and crinkle toys are a hit! He's very smart and has benefited from enrichment toys. We are looking to rehome him because when adopted we were told he is a lapdog, he is not. Our schedules don't allow us to give him all the attention that he needs. He loves walks/runs, play time with balls/thrown toys (not so good at bringing them back to be thrown again, but could definitely be taught by a patient human), tug-of-war time, etc. He's a very good boy, we just aren't a good fit together.

Hi, my name is Marshall! I’m a 1-year-old Beagle mix hoping to find my forever home. When I’m not wrestling with my four-legged friends, I love to snuggle up and watch TV with my foster family. Sometimes I get excited and whine when I see animals on the TV. I love being around my people, especially kids! I get along well with other dogs but I have not been around cats. I can be a little timid with new people/situations, but I adjust pretty quickly and am building my confidence. I enjoy playing with toys and chewing on bones. I’m crate-trained and do a great job of letting my foster family know when I need to do my business outside. I have a lot of love to give and really want to have a family of my own! Please fill out an application ASAP! All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Not only does Butters have high jump capabilities, but he is also an absolute sweetheart. He doesn’t know what a stranger is and he loves everyone he meets. Butters enjoys playing with other dogs, kids, and people. Butters is crate trained and potty trained. He loves getting head scratches, snuggling with his favorite people, and barking at his own reflection. He is a loving dog that will make a great companion for his forever family. Due to Butters' ability to jump over fences, it is recommended that a tether be used to keep him from leaping into the next county. Butters has a cherry eye that will need to be fixed. UPDATE Sissy as shown in the newest picture priviously an only dog shows that she has. decided to smuggle with another furry friend, who knew? a very peasant surprise indeed. She proves that seniors can do new things. UPDATE 9/4/24 Sissy has had a chiropractor adjustment. She is warming up to people. Knowing that she was raised by a lady in an apartment lets us know how comfortable she would be in a similar situation. She also "Baroo"'s when she wants to go outside to potty. Her weight looks good on her at 27#'s now. One other dog for a companion would be ideal and multiple dogs may overwhelm her as something she isn't used to during her 16 yrs. Time spent acclimating her to more dogs may do her good to learn. Sissy can be left alone for a period of time, would curl up and sleep Im sure. Sissy, 16 yrs old in March 2024, was taken in from a one time owner who is currently in a Nursing Home. This wonderful lady spent some time overweight but is now at a prime 28#'s. She is spayed, agile with a very slight limp, takes treats gently, has been in mulitple dog homes for visits, on thyroid medication controlled and maintained. She lived in a first floor apartment but has shown she can do steps. Sissy can potty on leash or in a fenced in area. She isn't a typical lap dog but friendly loves to be petted on the head. As with all dogs Sissy learned silly habits and if you scratch her back end she thinks shes going outside for a walk. She keeps a subtle awareness of her surroundings.

Let's talk about Petunia, the adorable Beabull who is still searching for her forever home. This sweet girl was surrendered when her family moved and couldn't take her with them. She was so anxious and confused when she first arrived. It's heartbreaking to see her without a place to call her own. But let me tell you, Petunia is a gem and she deserves the best! She's 1.5 years old, housebroken and crate trained. However, she hasn't had any formal training and doesn't know any commands. But hey, that's just a small detail that can easily be fixed with some love and patience. Now, let's talk about her Beagle side. Petunia has all the typical Beagle behaviors - she barks in her kennel and has a nose for adventure. So, apartment life may not be the best fit for her. But if you have a fenced-in yard where she can explore and sniff to her heart's content, she'll be one happy pup. Beagle experience is a plus! Petunia has been a bit selective with other dogs.
