Meet Daisy Mae. She was purchased for some crazy amount from someone who had no clue. She was given away after a few days and a few days after that was rescued from an acquaintance who couldn’t stand the way she was being treated. That person reached out to us for help. Poor baby. She does have papers for what that is worth. Daisy Mae is a Lemon Beagle and is only about 16 weeks old as of 1/3/26. She was born 9/11/25. Daisy Mae is currently only about 13-15 lbs. She is great with other dogs and cats. Should be fine with respectful children. Due to her breed, a fenced yard is required. She has had her age appropriate vaccines and will be spayed in February or March along with any other needed vaccines. Her adoption fee is $250. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Scooter is a 3-year-old Beagle/Shepherd mix weighing 47 pounds who is looking for his forever family. This sweet boy came to the rescue very underweight, and thanks to lots of care and good meals, he’s slowly gaining weight and starting to come out of his shell. Scooter already knows how to sit and is eager to keep learning, especially if toys or treats are involved! He walks nicely on a leash and is working on his potty-training. He loves playing with toys, happily chewing on bones, and then winding down for some quality cuddle time. One of his favorite things is simply being part of the family—he wants to be included in whatever you’re doing, whether that’s playtime or a cozy night on the couch. Scooter gets along well with other dogs but has not met children yet. He is currently very curious about the cats in his foster home and is learning how to co-exist with them peacefully. Affectionate, loyal, and full of love, Scooter is a snuggler at heart who’s ready to find a forever home where he can continue to grow, feel safe, and be cherished. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will fill your home with love, Scooter might just be your perfect match. Meet Jessica! 🐾 Jessica is an adult Beagle mix with a gentle, tender heart. She can be a little timid at first, but once she feels safe, her loving personality shines through. Jessica enjoys quiet companionship and absolutely loves to cuddle. She’s currently working on her leash manners and will do best with a patient, understanding adopter who can help her continue to build confidence at her own pace. With kindness and consistency, Jessica will make a loyal and affectionate companion. During a weekend stay in a foster home, when Jessica wasn't snuggling near her foster mom, she was quite comfortable in her crate, as needed, with her blankets and stuffie toy. She was not a fan of the cold weather but she went potty outside while being walked around the yard on a leash with no accidents in the house. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog.
