Story
Tucker is a handsome 3-year-old, 26-pound Rat Terrier/Beagle mix with a big personality and all the charm you'd expect from his breeds! He loves being close to his people and will happily be your little shadow. One of his favorite things in the world is playing with the water hose, and if you have a kiddie pool or sprinkler, he'll be first in line for the fun. This active, intelligent boy thrives on exercise, long walks, and enrichment to keep both his body and mind busy. Like many Rat Terriers, Tucker can find his own entertainment if he's bored, so he'll do best with a family committed to keeping him engaged. He's learning what is and isn't appropriate to chew and continues to make great progress. Tucker is crate trained and is doing great on his house training. A consistent routine with frequent potty breaks will help him continue to succeed. He knows "sit" and is currently learning "stay." Tucker gets along well with other dogs but will require a meet-and-greet with any resident pups to ensure they're a good match. Because he can get a little mouthy when he's excited or asking for attention, he'd do best in a home with older children. He should also live in a home without small animals, such as rabbits or bearded dragons. A securely fenced yard would be ideal, giving him a safe place to run, play, and burn off some of his energy. If you're looking for a fun-loving, loyal companion who will keep you laughing, follow you everywhere, and happily splash around in the hose with you, Tucker just might be your perfect match! He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and will be available for adoption starting 7/12/26. Apply directly at www.pawsacrosspittsburgh.com/adopt through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA 15144, KL#16182. ##2780399##

MOOSE 1 – 2 years GYPSY 1 – 2 years Attributes: Bonded pair Dog friendly Shy Medium energy Housetrained Snuggly Requires fence Playful Meet Gypsy & Moose, a sweet, inseparable duo who have grown up side-by-side and are ready to find a loving home together. At just 1.5 years old, Gypsy (19 lbs) and Moose (22 lbs) are young, playful, and full of heart. Their previous family adored them deeply, but due to hard times, they were lovingly surrendered to Midwest BREW so they could have the future they deserve. Gypsy is the more outgoing of the pair—curious, affectionate, and quick to offer trust once she feels safe. Moose is a gentle soul with longer hair and a beagle-plus-cocker look. He’s more reserved at first, but once he warms up, he becomes a devoted snuggler who melts into your lap. Both pups were not well socialized early in life, so they’re shy when meeting new people. They do get nervous in new situations. They’ll need a couple of weeks to settle in. Gypsy and Moose are fun, lively dogs who enjoy toys, chasing a ball, and wrestling with each other. Watching them play is guaranteed to bring joy and laughter to their home. They will need a secured fenced yard as they LOVE doing zoomies together 3–4 times a day. It’s their favorite shared ritual. They are fully house trained and know how to use a dog door. They enjoy daily walks and are improving on leash manners. They sleep in bed with their foster parents and adore bedtime snuggles. This pair will thrive with adopters who can offer patience, consistency, and a secure environment. Once they feel safe, Gypsy and Moose become affectionate, playful companions who bring double the love and double the fun. NOTE: Dogs may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Story
At approximately 5 months old and 24 pounds, she's a happy, playful pup who's ready to find a family of her own. She got spayed on June 19th and is thriving in her foster home, where she gets along wonderfully with the other dogs. Her submissive personality makes her an easy companion, and she's happy to let the other pups take the lead. Like any puppy, she's still learning the ropes! She'll need a family committed to continuing her training, especially with basic manners and house training. With consistency, patience, and plenty of praise, she's sure to blossom into an amazing lifelong companion. She's eager to please and at the perfect age to learn. Whether she's playing in the yard, making new canine friends, or relaxing by your side after a fun day, this sweetheart is happiest just being part of the family. Story
🐾 Meet Luna! 🐾 Luna is a 5-month-old Beagle mix with a sweet personality, an adorable face, and a nose that's always ready for her next adventure! She currently weighs about 20–25 pounds and is expected to stay a nice medium size when she's fully grown. One of Luna's biggest accomplishments is that she's already house-trained using the bell system! She'll ring the bell to let you know when she needs to go outside—a pretty impressive skill for such a young pup. Luna came to us as an owner surrender because she wasn't getting along well with the older dogs in her home. At her age, it's difficult to know whether she was trying to encourage them to play, testing boundaries like many adolescent puppies do, or simply overwhelming dogs that weren't interested in her puppy energy. What we do know is that Luna is still very much a puppy and will benefit from continued training, structure, and appropriate introductions to other dogs. She would thrive with an active family that has the time and patience to continue teaching her good manners, provide plenty of exercise, and help her grow into the wonderful adult dog she's destined to be. Whether she's exploring the backyard, going for walks, or curling up after a busy day, Luna is ready to become someone's loyal best friend. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate young companion who's already off to a great start with house training, Luna may be the perfect addition to your family!

Story
Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. She is ready for her furever family!! Apply soon! Local adoption only $200, in TX
