PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hello there! My name is Kingston, and I'm on the hunt for my forever family. I was born on March 15, 2025, and I'm growing into a handsome young pup with a big heart and an even bigger love for life. My favorite thing in the whole world? WATER! If there's a pool, pond, creek, lake, sprinkler, or kiddie pool nearby, count me in. I'll be the first one splashing around and having the time of my life. When I'm not busy practicing my swimming skills, I'm making friends. I love people, enjoy meeting new dogs, and am always excited to be part of the fun. Whether we're going for a walk, exploring somewhere new, or hanging out in the backyard, I'm happiest when I'm with my favorite humans. I'm a social, friendly guy who greets life with a wagging tail and an adventurous spirit. I have the perfect combination of playful puppy energy and sweet companionship, making me an excellent sidekick for whatever adventures come our way. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who loves everyone he meets, never turns down a chance to play in the water, and is ready to make memories with you for years to come, I think we might be a perfect match. Come meet me! can't wait to make a splash in your life! Love, Kingston

Story
Attention All Beagle Lovers Barbara is a beautiful senior girl looking for a patient and caring family who will give her the home that she deserves. She came into our rescue after living a nomadic life forseveral years after her owner passed away. Her behaviors indicate she was part of a family, she is friendly and happy to meet all humans. Barbara is 10 years old and wants nothing more to be your shadow and spend her days at your side. She will need someone who is very patient and willing to work with her while she continues to work on house training. This senior girl is a nice size, a little under 25 pounds and comes to life when her favorite human returns home and when adventuring outside.  Barbara sleeps quietly in her crate overnight. During the day, Barbara acts like a respectable Beagle - she loves to sniff the ground and keeps track of her favorite human’s location. Barbara is respectful of both dogs and cats. While Barbara does not show much social interest in her foster siblings, she is much more confident and relaxed when they are around. She clearly enjoys being part of a pack. A confident and calm canine sibling in the house would help her to continue to adjust to being a member of the family.  Barbara can walk well on a leash but some urban sounds still seem to be new to her. Barbara loves to roll in the grass and sniff the air and will be very content to sun herself while you attend to yard work. Her ideal home would give her outdoor space to explore and have a fenced in yard so that she can roll and sniff on her own terms. Barbara is still recovering from her recent nomadic period and the lack of a consistent, healthy diet. She came into rescue positive for lyme disease. And while she completed one round of antibiotics, it is recommended that she be tested again and may need a second course of antibiotics. Additionally, Barbara’s kidney levels are high and she is on medication and a diet to help regulate her bloodwork. Since coming into rescue, good food and care have brought these numbers down but her bloodwork will need to be monitored. Finally, as an older girl, her knees are sore, and while she has no trouble ambulating (good on stairs, can jump up on the couch, and has daily zoomies), she has some discomfort when squatting. She was recently placed on two medications to make her more comfortable and which has allowed her to hold a squat longer when going to the bathroom. As to house training, she is making progress but her family will need to have patience to continue to work with her as she does not yet indicate when she needs go outside. In addition to a like-minded canine sibling and a fenced in yard, Barbara’s ideal adoptive family will include at least one human who is at home more often than not and is ready to provide and receive the affection that this loveable “Velcro” dog offers. Can you provide the home that Barbara needs and deserves for her senior years? Barbara is available now through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA 15144, KL#16182. ##2817442##

Story
RUDY 2 years Attributes Dog friendly Housetrained Good on car rides Playful Snuggly High energy Meet Rudy! Rudy is an approximately two-year-old Beagle who has never met a stranger! After being found as a stray, he's now looking for a forever family that will give him the love, attention, and active lifestyle he deserves. With his happy personality, adorable Beagle charm, and endless affection, it's no surprise that everyone who meets him falls in love. Rudy is house-trained and has diligent manners inside the home. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, and off, and because he's highly food motivated (he is a Beagle, after all!), he's eager to learn and responds well to positive reinforcement. Like any young dog, he occasionally gets curious about something he shouldn't have, but a little redirection to one of his toys is all it takes, and he's right back on track. He's full of puppy energy and loves to play! Rudy enjoys carrying his toys around, entertaining himself, and playing games with his people. He'll even play a game of fetch from time to time. He's generally a quiet dog, but when he's having fun with his toys, don't be surprised to hear a few adorable Beagle sounds as he talks to himself. Rudy loves other dogs and has a blast at doggy daycare. He enjoys playing with his canine friends and matches their energy well. While he can be a little dominant at times, he's never overly rough. His biggest challenge is that he loves people so much that if someone is giving another dog attention, Rudy is convinced it's his turn too! He'll happily squeeze in for pets and belly rubs, which happen to be his absolute favorite. Because of his age and energy level, Rudy would do best with a family that can provide plenty of exercise, playtime, and opportunities to burn off that youthful energy. Since Beagles are famous for their love of food, staying active will help him maintain a healthy weight. He'll also benefit from a family willing to continue reinforcing his manners, especially when it comes to patiently sharing attention. Rudy isn't a fan of the crate, but he does well left loose in the house for short periods. He rides wonderfully in the car and is usually asleep within minutes—especially if he can curl up on someone's lap while enjoying a few belly rubs. At bedtime, he's perfectly happy sleeping in his own dog bed or snuggled up with his humans. Rudy is simply a sweet, affectionate, fun-loving young Beagle with so much love to give. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will make you laugh, keep you active, and always be ready for a cuddle at the end of the day, Rudy may just be the perfect addition to your family. NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

MOOSE 1 – 2 years GYPSY 1 – 2 years Attributes: Bonded pair Dog friendly Shy Medium energy Housetrained Snuggly Requires fence Playful Meet Gypsy & Moose, a sweet, inseparable duo who have grown up side-by-side and are ready to find a loving home together. At just 1.5 years old, Gypsy (19 lbs) and Moose (22 lbs) are young, playful, and full of heart. Their previous family adored them deeply, but due to hard times, they were lovingly surrendered to Midwest BREW so they could have the future they deserve. Gypsy is the more outgoing of the pair—curious, affectionate, and quick to offer trust once she feels safe. Moose is a gentle soul with longer hair and a beagle-plus-cocker look. He’s more reserved at first, but once he warms up, he becomes a devoted snuggler who melts into your lap. Both pups were not well socialized early in life, so they’re shy when meeting new people. They do get nervous in new situations. They’ll need a couple of weeks to settle in. Gypsy and Moose are fun, lively dogs who enjoy toys, chasing a ball, and wrestling with each other. Watching them play is guaranteed to bring joy and laughter to their home. They will need a secured fenced yard as they LOVE doing zoomies together 3–4 times a day. It’s their favorite shared ritual. They are fully house trained and know how to use a dog door. They enjoy daily walks and are improving on leash manners. They sleep in bed with their foster parents and adore bedtime snuggles. This pair will thrive with adopters who can offer patience, consistency, and a secure environment. Once they feel safe, Gypsy and Moose become affectionate, playful companions who bring double the love and double the fun. NOTE: Dogs may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Story
Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. She is ready for her furever family!! Apply soon! Local adoption fee is $300(in TX)
