This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cin cinnati, Lexington KY, or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225 . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. Just like my Marvel/X-Men namesake, I've overcome my past and now look forward to a brilliantly bright future. My journey started in a rather somber place - a lonely field next to a gas station. Thankfully, kind souls would drop by, leaving me food and their hopes for a better life. One day, a persistent and resourceful lady decided to play her "pawn" and orchestrated my escape from that grim existence. Since then, I've been living with her and her doggy (and human) family. But now, I'm eagerly searching for my own forever family. Let's talk quirks. I'm a cheerful guy, but I've got some personal space boundaries. I'm protective of my face, so a home with adults or older, dog-savvy kids is my ideal match. I'm also a bit of a goofball and adore the company of other dogs. Now, I might not instantly become your best buddy; I take time to trust and get comfortable in my surroundings. But trust me, the patience will be worth it. I'm brimming with love and loyalty, just waiting for the right family to share it with. Here's the good news - I'm house and crate trained, proving that, yes, young dogs can indeed learn new tricks. Oh, and there's more - I'm pretty chill around cats, though a gentle introduction is wise. And I've been curious and respectful around a human baby, so that's a plus. One thing to note, though, is that I've had some reservations around men. Despite two years together, I haven't quite warmed up to my human's fianc and have snapped at him a few times. So, it might be best if I find a home without men. During a short stay with Kathy, I was a little shy but kept to myself. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a dash of X-Men flair and you're ready to give me the chance I deserve, let's make it happen. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Mogie! He is a 7.5 year old purebred Beagle who came to us as an owner surrender after his owners could no longer care for him due to a change in their living situation. He is a very sweet boy who absolutely loves being with his people and exploring. Mogie is a smart dog who knows quite a few commands already and is eager to learn more! He is house trained and well mannered, although he has never quite mastered loving being in a crate. He is not an apartment dog as he walks the Beagle walk with his nose to the ground, but also talks the Beagle talk and bays. He will require a home that has another dog or people that are home often, as he will bay frequently out of missing having company around. Mogie walks well on leash and loves to stay close to his people. His ideal forever home would be one outside the city with a huge yard for him to run around and explore in. He was originally meant to be a show dog, but was missing his front left dewclaw so he could not qualify. He is stunning in both looks and personality and is ready to be in his forever home! Mogie is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.
