One early morning a group of stray dogs began to attack a dog in search of food. Due to the noises, a person went outside and realized that the dog was pregnant, so he decided to take in the mother-to-be. A month later Eddy and his siblings were born. Eddy is a very playful and friendly puppy who loves to play and run all day long. he has a lot of energy. He likes to jump and climb things, play with ropes and balls, sunbathe in the afternoons, socialize with other dogs. He can be a bit naughty and effusive, however, eddy is a loving and cuddly puppy who loves to receive affection and to have your attention. He is the ideal playmate for children. At first he can be a little shy and distrustful but he just needs time to adapt to his new home and show his true personality. He has no problem with cats or dogs. He is used to live with many dogs and eat with them. He is not very noisy and does not howl. He is a bit grumpy with other dogs but he is not aggressive. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Beatrice Bianca is the sweetest dog! She isn't a velcro dog. She likes to sleep next to u. BB is 3. You can see she had a rough start to her life since someone zip-tied her muzzle. She is smart as a Belgian Malinois. There's a hole in the fence? She'll wait for you on the other side of the gate. She is strong at only 35#. She's house-trained as long as you let her out. She is a rascal; if you put her on a leash and attach her to something, she'll just chew thru it. You want to put an AirPod on her? She will figure out a way to chew it off. She's so smart she gets bored easily, so if you leave her alone in the house, expect some kind of mayhem. I adopted her from someone who left her in a crate for 8 hours a day, so she hates a crate. She used to do some resource guarding of her food and of me, but no more. I am heartbroken to rehome her, but she has a very high prey drive, and I have cats. She would do best in a home with older children. She deserves a loving home. Come meet her!

Personality & Characteristics * Interaction with Humans: Is very shy and fearful around people, and it may take a significant amount of time to get close to him. While he tends to dodge or run away initially, he slowly allows physical touch once he gets used to you. Will also occasionally approach you to accept tasty treats! * Interaction with Dogs: Gets along wonderfully with his friends at the center. Is very patient and playful with younger puppies and matches the energy of active dogs well. * Interaction with Cats: Doesn't pay much attention to cats and remains largely indifferent when he sees them. * Separation Anxiety: Since he is currently living in a group environment at the center, it is difficult to accurately assess. * Potty Training: Currently uses indoor potty areas at the center and does very well on pee pads. The person who found them took them home for a day before bringing them to the shelter. MARIGOLD was terrified by the shelter intake process and was placed in isolation kennels due to alligator rolling and needing to DECOMPRESS. She is staying as far away from staff as she can and is ACTIVELY TREMBLING. The staff want her out so she can recover. She is, no doubt, under extreme mental distress at the shelter. PLEASE HELP HER The finder was able to pick her up and put her in the car. She is NOT rescue only so she can be responsibly ADOPTED or she can be FOSTERED for a rescue if you can offer her stability and commitment until she gets her Furever home. Available in TX only! King is a one year old Basset Hound/Lab mix with a gentle soul and a laid back nature. He is still gaining confidence and can be scared of new things, especially loud noises, but once he feels safe he settles in nicely. When he gets excited he can be a little jumpy, though most of the time he is calm and easygoing. King truly enjoys running around the yard, going on walks, and soaking up outdoor time. He has a playful side and loves playing fetch with frisbees and balls. Tug of war is another favorite game, and he is a big fan of chew time. Knuckle bones, hard chew toys for power chewers, and anything he can safely gnaw on make him very happy. King is crate trained and house trained, which makes him an easy addition to a home. King does have a prey drive and enjoys chasing squirrels and frogs, and he will chase cats, so a cat free home is recommended. He also has a sensitive stomach and does best on sensitive stomach dog food.
